How much does the 2025 GMC Yukon cost?

Is the 2025 GMC Yukon a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong shopper satisfaction for this model year. The 2025 Yukon stands out as a full-size SUV that blends a commanding presence with a restrained, upscale look, and it adds updated interior and exterior styling, a new 16.8-inch infotainment screen with Google built in, and a new AT4 Ultimate trim level. It also keeps the premium, family-friendly character that defines the Yukon while offering a lot of space and capability. With 37.1% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a meaningful number of opportunities to shop selectively.

Is the 2025 GMC Yukon reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview says reliability hasn’t been great so far in this generation, so you should treat this as a vehicle where condition and maintenance history matter more than usual. For used buyers, that means the long-term ownership risk is worth evaluating carefully before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the specific vehicle has a clean maintenance record, especially given the model’s mixed reliability reputation. Prioritize a thorough pre-purchase inspection that checks electronics, drivetrain behavior, and any signs of wear from family use or towing. Focus on overall condition and service documentation, since those details matter more when you’re shopping a premium SUV with a modern price tag.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,501 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.12% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $73,332, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $73,332 sits slightly below last year's $83,441.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are less likely to be driven by appreciation. If you plan to sell later, your best protection is buying well, keeping mileage reasonable, and preserving condition. A well-kept Yukon should still appeal to shoppers who want a large, premium-feeling SUV with strong space and capability.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.12% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date Yukon experience, the 2025 is the better pick because it adds the refreshed styling, larger infotainment screen, and new trim choice while still delivering the space and capability the model is known for. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may make more sense, especially if you can find a well-kept example with the features you want at a lower price.
