What should I look for when buying a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you’re seriously considering, even when the market looks clean. Focus on overall condition, signs of wear, and whether the vehicle has been maintained consistently.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 GMC Yukon?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,643 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $72,641, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 GMC Yukon's resale value?

The current average of $72,641 sits slightly below last year's $82,848.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also mean future resale gains are more limited. If you plan to sell later, the current softness could work against short-term appreciation, so condition and mileage will matter even more when it’s time to trade in or list the vehicle. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2025 GMC Yukon or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.32% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2025 if you want the updated styling, larger infotainment screen, and a market that currently gives you some negotiating room. If your main goal is to minimize purchase price, a nearby model year may be worth considering, but the 2025 is the better fit if you want the freshest version of this generation’s features and are comfortable paying for them.
