Is the 2025 Audi Q8 a good car?

The 2025 Audi Q8 stands out as Audi’s flagship SUV, with a coupe-like character, a more exclusive two-row layout, and a sportier, more luxurious feel than the Q7 it is based on. It also shares many chassis, electronics, and powertrain components with higher-end performance SUVs, which helps explain its upscale intent.

For shoppers, that means you’re looking at a premium SUV that emphasizes style, refinement, and a strong standard equipment list over maximum practicality. The tradeoff is less headroom and cargo space than a Q7, plus a heavier reliance on touchscreens than some other Audi models of its era.

37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent pool of value-oriented options to consider.

Is the 2025 Audi Q8 reliable?

The 2025 Audi Q8 is positioned as a well-equipped, premium SUV with a familiar turbocharged V6, standard quattro all-wheel drive, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Its appeal is rooted in its upscale design, generous standard features, and shared hardware with other high-end performance SUVs.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a luxury SUV with this level of complexity can be more expensive to keep in top condition if maintenance or repairs come due.

What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Audi Q8?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims about ownership, service, and prior damage. Put inspection priority on the condition of the interior electronics, touchscreen functions, and any signs of wear that matter more on a premium SUV. Because the Q8 is a luxury model, focus on how well it has been maintained rather than just the odometer reading.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Audi Q8?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 316 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 95.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $60,733, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Audi Q8's resale value?

The current average of $60,733 sits slightly below last year's $70,924.

That decline suggests the Q8 has become more accessible for used buyers, but it also means a future seller may face a softer pricing environment than owners saw a year ago. If you buy well now, you may have less downside risk than someone who purchased closer to the prior average. For resale, condition and documentation will matter even more because premium SUVs tend to separate quickly based on maintenance history and overall presentation.

Should I buy a 2025 Audi Q8 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.37% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the right pick if you want the refreshed Q8 formula with strong inventory and a meaningful price drop versus last year. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, especially if you can find a cleaner example with the right equipment at a lower asking price.
