Used 2024 Toyota Sienna for Sale nearBirmingham, AL

How much does the 2024 Toyota Sienna cost?

Prices have softened 2.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 2,431 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sienna a good car?

Generally — the 2024 Toyota Sienna earns a 4/5 user rating and a 7.5/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The Sienna fits well if you want a family hauler with three rows of seating, power sliding doors, and a hybrid setup that prioritizes efficiency and everyday usefulness. The trade-offs are that performance is fairly pedestrian and the technology is looking a bit outdated.

The model’s 41.4% good-or-great deal share also suggests there are worthwhile listings to shop.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sienna reliable?

Owners rate it 4/5, a solid signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sienna’s reliability case is built around its hybrid-focused design, standard safety equipment, and practical family-hauler mission. The expert evaluation also points to strong value and efficiency, which usually matter to buyers planning to keep a vehicle for years.

Toyota’s warranty coverage includes two years or 25,000 miles of scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership hassle.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Sienna’s dated tech and modest driving performance may feel more noticeable as the vehicle ages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Sienna?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing higher-mileage family vans. Focus on cabin wear, seat condition, and how the tech and driver-assistance features operate in real-world use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Sienna is offered in LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited and Platinum trim levels. The base trim gets cloth seats and the standard safety suite, while upper trims add features like Bi-LED projector headlamps, heated and cooled leather-trimmed front seats, and a built-in vacuum cleaner.
• Powertrain: Every Sienna uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid setup with two electric motors and a CVT. Front-wheel-drive models produce 245 horsepower total, and AWD versions add a rear electric motor for extra traction.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes lane departure alert, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, road sign recognition, full-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Infotainment: You get a nine-inch touchscreen with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a standard Wi-Fi hotspot and SiriusXM satellite radio. The system is older, and the backup camera image is grainy.
• Fuel efficiency: Front-wheel-drive models are rated at 36 mpg across the board, with AWD models returning slightly less.

Which 2024 Toyota Sienna trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Sienna is offered in 6 trim levels: LE, XLE, XSE, Woodland Edition, Limited and Platinum.

Here's the short version:

• LE: This is the value play if you want the Sienna’s hybrid efficiency, three-row space, and standard safety equipment without paying for extras you may not need.
• XLE: This is the best-value upgrade if you want a more polished family setup while staying well below the top trims.
• XSE: This is the sportier choice, with a black metallic mesh grille, black heated side mirrors, and 20-inch dark wheels.
• Woodland Edition: This is the pick if you want the most rugged-looking Sienna, with roof rails, crossbars, a tow hitch, and a bit more ground clearance.
• Limited: This trim suits you if you want more comfort and convenience features without going all the way to the top.
• Platinum: This is the luxury-leaning choice for shoppers who want the most upscale Sienna experience.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the lineup, so even the lower trims start with a strong safety foundation.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Sienna?

It looks like a buyer’s market, with solid deal availability and a strong share of accident-free listings.

• Deal availability: 41.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,431 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $39,949, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Sienna's resale value?

The current average of $44,305 sits slightly below last year's $45,522.

That softer pricing can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future sellers may need to stay competitive if the market remains well supplied. The Sienna’s strong efficiency and family-friendly practicality should help support demand, especially among shoppers who value low running costs.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sienna safe?

The 2024 Toyota Sienna earns four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover protection, and five-star ratings in side crash protection from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard across the board and includes lane departure alert, automatic emergency braking that can detect a pedestrian or cyclist, road sign recognition, full-speed adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.

The main caveat is that front crash prevention was rated as “Average” by IIHS, so you should not assume every safety system is top-tier just because the suite is comprehensive.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Sienna or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 41.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.67% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 brings standard hybrid efficiency, three-row practicality, and plenty of safety features.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $41,497, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $44,305 average.
• It offers strong fuel efficiency and standard advanced safety features.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $46,342, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $44,305 average.
• It adds a quieter cabin, easier tech, and more appealing everyday refinement.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of price, efficiency, and family usefulness, the 2024 is the smart default. If you’re especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value path, while the 2025 makes sense if you want a newer-feeling Sienna and are willing to pay more.
