Used 2024 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearSaint Louis, MO

How much does the 2024 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 8.06% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,313 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Sequoia earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It pairs full-size SUV utility with a standard hybrid powertrain, and the overview says that setup improves fuel economy while also boosting towing and hauling power. It also comes with standard advanced safety features, easy-to-use technology, and a generous list of premium features, so you get a well-equipped SUV right away.

The trade-offs are real: the hybrid packaging reduces cargo room and third-row space, and the expert notes call out a cramped third row and limited cargo space. If you want a full-size SUV that emphasizes towing strength, efficiency, and standard equipment more than maximum interior volume, this one fits that brief well.

37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to Toyota’s reputation for long-term reliability, and the expert summary reinforces that the Sequoia’s appeal comes from a compelling mix of strengths rather than one standout feature alone. The hybrid powertrain is standard, and the review notes that it brings improved fuel economy along with stronger towing and hauling capability.

The cost-effectiveness notes also mention Toyota’s three-year/36,000-mile comprehensive warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain coverage. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the Sequoia’s packaging compromises may matter more over time if you regularly need maximum cargo or third-row space.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to tow or use the SUV heavily. Focus on interior condition, because the third row and cargo area are the biggest practical compromises in this model. It also makes sense to verify that the equipment you want is actually present, since several comfort and towing features vary by trim.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SR5 uses fabric seating surfaces, while SofTex is available on SR5 and standard on Limited and TRD Pro, and leather is standard on Platinum. Every trim gets at least eight-way power-adjustable front seats, but the higher trims add more upscale materials and a panoramic roof, so the base trim is the one most likely to feel lightest on luxury features.
• Powertrain: The Sequoia uses Toyota’s iForce MAX hybrid setup with a twin-turbo V6 and electric motor. It makes 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, and the review says it improves fuel economy while also increasing towing and hauling power.
• Safety package: Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign recognition. Standard blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, and Trailer Merge Warning are also included, while the Tow Technology Package is the main optional driver-aid bundle.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. SR5 uses an 8-inch touchscreen, while every other trim gets a 14-inch center touchscreen. The Panoramic View monitor is standard, and the 14-speaker JBL Premium Audio system is available on Limited and standard on Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.
• Fuel efficiency: The Sequoia is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD.

Which 2024 Toyota Sequoia trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is offered in 5 trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR5: This is the value play if you want the Sequoia’s standard hybrid powertrain, core safety tech, and the strongest towing capability in the lineup. It’s the trim to start with if you care most about capability and price rather than luxury extras.
• Limited: This is the best-value upgrade if you want a more polished experience without jumping all the way to the top end. It adds more upscale equipment than SR5 and can be a smart middle ground for shoppers who want comfort and tech without overbuying.
• Platinum: This trim is the better choice if you want a more premium-feeling Sequoia, with leather standard and more high-end equipment. It suits you if you want a family hauler that feels noticeably more upscale.
• TRD Pro: This is the trim to choose if you want the most adventure-ready setup in the lineup. It’s the one with the strongest off-road character, and it’s the right fit if you want that capability baked in rather than added later.
• Capstone: This is the luxury-focused choice, with the most upscale presentation and the richest feature set. It makes sense if you want the Sequoia at its most premium and don’t mind paying for it.

The Tow Technology Package is available on SR5 and Limited and standard on the higher three trims.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,313 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $65,868, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $65,868 sits slightly below last year's $71,644.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means you may not see the same near-term appreciation that a tighter market would support. Still, a well-kept Sequoia should remain appealing to shoppers who want a hybrid full-size SUV with strong towing ability and standard equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia safe?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign recognition. You also get front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning as standard equipment.

The main safety-related upgrade is the Tow Technology Package, which adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist. That package is available on SR5 and Limited and standard on the higher three trims.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.06% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds standard hybrid power, strong towing, and widely praised tech updates.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $60,916, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $65,868 average.
• It brings a redesigned hybrid setup with modern tech, but less interior space.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $70,859, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $65,868 average.
• It adds the 1794 Edition and a more upscale luxury angle.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, standard equipment, and current-market availability, the 2024 is the primary target. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the smarter value play, while the 2025 makes sense only if you specifically want the newer luxury-focused trim and are willing to pay more.
