Used 2024 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearPfafftown, NC

How much does the 2024 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 7.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,280 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Sequoia earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

It stands out in the full-size SUV class because it comes with a standard hybrid powertrain, giving you a distinctive mix of towing and hauling strength along with improved fuel economy. It also brings standard advanced safety features, easy-to-use technology, and a generous amount of premium equipment, so you get a well-equipped SUV right from the start.

The trade-off is space: the third row is cramped and cargo room is limited, so you’re choosing capability and efficiency over maximum room. The market still shows healthy interest, with 34.5% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sequoia’s appeal is reinforced by Toyota’s reputation for long-term reliability, and the standard hybrid setup gives you a modern powertrain with strong towing and hauling ability. The expert review also notes that the 10-speed automatic operates smoothly and subtly, which is a good sign for everyday drivability.

Toyota’s three-year/36,000-mile comprehensive warranty and five-year/60,000-mile powertrain coverage add some reassurance for used buyers. Even so, you should still budget for normal wear items and verify maintenance history, especially on higher-mileage examples.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, confirm maintenance records, and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection. Focus on the third row, cargo area, and any signs of heavy family or towing use, since those are the areas where this SUV’s compromises and workload are most likely to show up.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SR5 uses fabric seating surfaces, while SofTex is available on SR5 and standard on Limited and TRD Pro; leather is standard on Platinum, and the Capstone adds semi-aniline leather and more chrome brightwork. If you want the most premium feel, the upper trims are the clear step up.
• Powertrain: Every 2024 Sequoia uses Toyota’s iForce MAX hybrid powertrain with a twin-turbo V6 and electric motor, making 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. It is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD, and the 10-speed automatic is standard.
• Safety package: Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning. The Tow Technology Package adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. SR5 uses an 8-inch touchscreen, while every other trim gets a 14-inch center touchscreen. The Panoramic View monitor is standard, and the 14-speaker JBL Premium Audio system is available on Limited and standard on Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.
• Fuel efficiency: The Sequoia is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD.

Which 2024 Toyota Sequoia trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is offered in 5 trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR5: This is the value play if you want the standard hybrid powertrain, the full safety suite, and the best towing capability in the lineup, since maximum towing comes from the base SR5 in RWD form. It also gives you the 8-inch touchscreen and fabric seating, so it’s the most affordable way into the Sequoia.
• Limited: This trim is the best-value step up if you want a more upscale feel without going all the way to the top. You get the larger 14-inch touchscreen, available SofTex, and access to the Tow Technology Package and TRD Off-Road package.
• Platinum: Choose this if you want a more premium cabin, standard leather, the panoramic roof, and available head-up display. It also can be equipped with the TRD Off-Road package and the JBL audio system.
• TRD Pro: This is the off-road-oriented choice, and it comes only with 4WD. It adds a skid plate and part-time 4WD hardware, and it is the trim to consider if adventure readiness matters most.
• Capstone: This is the luxury-leaning top trim, with semi-aniline leather, standard panoramic roof, standard JBL audio, and the 10-inch head-up display. It is the right pick if you want the most premium presentation.

Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5 and the standard safety hardware, so you do not need to move up the lineup to get core driver assistance.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to shop carefully and enough deal activity to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,280 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $66,246, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $66,246 sits slightly below last year's $71,775.

That softer pricing can help you as a buyer now, but it also suggests sellers may need to be realistic when they list a used Sequoia. If you buy well and keep mileage and condition in check, you should have a better shot at holding value than someone who overpays at the start.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia safe?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning. The Tow Technology Package adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist.

The main safety caveat is that formal crash-test results are not available here, so you’re relying on the standard equipment list and the expert safety score rather than published test ratings.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The standard hybrid powertrain gives you strong towing and hauling with improved fuel economy.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $61,152, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $66,246 average.
• It is a redesigned SUV with a standard hybrid powertrain and a more advanced cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $70,880, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $66,246 average.
• It adds the 1794 Edition, a Texas-themed luxury model.

The bottom line: If you want the best mix of standard equipment, hybrid efficiency, and current-market pricing, the 2024 is the strongest all-around pick. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 can save you money while keeping the core hybrid formula, while the 2025 makes sense only if you specifically want the newer luxury trim and are willing to pay more.
