Used 2024 Toyota Sequoia for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2024 Toyota Sequoia cost?

Prices have softened 8.47% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,342 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Toyota Sequoia earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 10/10.

The Sequoia’s appeal comes from its full-size SUV utility paired with a standard hybrid powertrain, plus easy-to-use technology and a generous list of premium features. It is especially compelling if you want seating capacity, towing strength, and fuel efficiency in one package.

The trade-offs are clear: the third row is cramped and cargo space is limited for the class. Even so, the market still shows 37.5% good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Sequoia’s standard hybrid setup is presented as a strength, with improved fuel economy and increased towing and hauling power. Toyota’s reputation for long-term reliability also supports the case for this SUV, and the powertrain is backed by a five-year/60,000-mile warranty.

The hybrid packaging does reduce interior space, so long-term ownership risk for used buyers is less about mechanical durability and more about whether the cabin and cargo compromises fit your needs.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you plan to use the Sequoia for towing or family hauling. Focus on cabin condition, cargo-area wear, and whether the third row and rear storage space work for your daily use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base SR5 uses fabric seating surfaces, while SofTex is available on SR5 and standard on Limited and TRD Pro; leather is standard on Platinum, and Capstone adds semi-aniline leather. Every trim gets at least eight-way power front seats, but the base trim is the most basic place to start.
• Powertrain: The Sequoia uses Toyota’s iForce MAX hybrid powertrain with a twin-turbo V6 and electric motor, making 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque. It is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD, and the 10-speed automatic is standard.
• Safety package: Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, road-sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning. The Tow Technology Package adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist.
• Infotainment: Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. SR5 uses an 8-inch touchscreen, while every other trim gets a 14-inch center touchscreen. The Panoramic View monitor is standard, and the 14-speaker JBL Premium Audio system is available on Limited and standard on Platinum, TRD Pro, and Capstone.
• Fuel efficiency: The Sequoia is rated at 20 mpg combined with 4WD.

Which 2024 Toyota Sequoia trim should I buy?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia is offered in 5 trim levels: SR5, Limited, Platinum, TRD Pro, Capstone.

Here's the short version:

• SR5: This is the value play if you want the Sequoia’s standard hybrid powertrain, full safety suite, and the best towing capability in the lineup. It also starts with the 8-inch touchscreen, so it is the most affordable way to get the core Sequoia experience.
• Limited: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more upscale equipment while keeping access to useful options like the Tow Technology Package and TRD Off-Road package. It is a smart middle ground if you want more comfort and capability without jumping to luxury pricing.
• Platinum: This trim brings leather standard, the upgraded panoramic moonroof, and the 14-speaker JBL Premium Audio system. It suits you if you want a more premium-feeling family SUV.
• TRD Pro: This is the off-road-oriented choice, with 4WD only and a skid plate, plus the TRD Off-Road package’s all-terrain tires, off-road suspension with Bilstein shocks, locking rear differential, Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select, and hill-descent control. Choose it if adventure-readiness matters more than maximum comfort.
• Capstone: This is the top luxury trim, with more chrome brightwork, semi-aniline leather, the panoramic moonroof, the head-up display, and standard JBL audio. It is the right pick if you want the most upscale Sequoia.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up trims to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Toyota Sequoia?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory to compare listings and enough price softness to reward patience.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,342 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.47% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 93.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $65,450, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia's resale value?

The current average of $65,450 sits slightly below last year's $71,506.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means there may be less immediate upside than there was a year ago, but it also indicates the model is trading in a more accessible range now.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Toyota Sequoia safe?

The 2024 Toyota Sequoia has not been rated by IIHS or NHTSA.

It earns a 10/10 safety score from our experts.

Every trim gets Toyota Safety Sense 2.5, including pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane-departure alert with steering assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign recognition. It also comes standard with front and rear parking sensors with automatic braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Trailer Merge Warning.

The Tow Technology Package adds a digital rearview mirror and trailer backup guide with Straight-Path Assist, and it is available on SR5 and Limited, then standard on the higher trims. That said, the lack of official crash-test ratings is the main caveat for safety-focused used buyers.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Sequoia or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.47% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 adds a standard hybrid powertrain with strong towing and easy-to-use tech.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $60,661, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $65,450 average.
• It brings a redesigned, tech-forward cabin with a standard hybrid setup.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $70,661, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $65,450 average.
• It adds the 1794 Edition, a Texas-themed luxury model.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, inventory, and standard equipment, the 2024 is the strongest all-around choice. If you are especially price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value path; if you want a newer luxury-flavored option and can spend more, the 2025 is worth a look.
