How much does the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid cost?

There are 647 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare trims, mileage, and condition.

Is the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid stands out as a practical three-row family SUV with a strong reputation for reliability and efficiency. It offers seating for eight in lower-end versions, while higher trims use captain’s chairs in the second row, and its cabin can be configured for a large amount of cargo space when the second and third rows are folded down. Toyota also gave it a smart, well-equipped interior, with standard Android Auto or Apple CarPlay compatibility and either an eight-inch touchscreen or a 12.3-inch touchscreen depending on trim.

What makes the 2024 model especially appealing is how much standard safety and convenience equipment it brings. Toyota SafetySense 2.0 is standard, along with features such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, lane departure alert, automatic high beams, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring. For 2024, Toyota also standardized a power liftgate, and Nightshade editions were introduced with blacked-out elements. The hybrid system is efficient for a large family crossover, and the available all-wheel-drive setup uses a third electric motor to drive the rear axle, helping provide traction without the complexity of a traditional mechanical system.

There are a few tradeoffs to keep in mind. The third row is described as cramped and best suited to kids, and the Highlander Hybrid is not the most exciting vehicle to drive. Even so, its mix of space, standard safety tech, and dependable hybrid powertrain makes it a compelling choice for buyers who want a sensible, well-rounded SUV. With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you still have room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid stands out as a practical three-row family SUV with a strong reputation for reliability and efficiency. It also brings a smart, well-equipped interior and a standard suite of safety and convenience features, which supports the sense that it is built to serve as a dependable daily family vehicle.

The hybrid system is efficient for a large family crossover, and the available all-wheel-drive setup uses a third electric motor to drive the rear axle, helping provide traction without the complexity of a traditional mechanical system. That kind of setup can be appealing if you want a simpler ownership experience than a more mechanically complex AWD system.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is making sure the vehicle has been maintained well enough to preserve the benefits of its hybrid and family-hauler design.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm accident status, title history, and any signs of repeated damage or inconsistent mileage. Then prioritize a thorough inspection of the hybrid system, brakes, tires, and interior wear, since family SUVs often see heavy daily use. Focus on overall condition and how well the cabin, cargo area, and third row have held up, because those are the areas most likely to show real-world wear.

What is the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $44,309 sits slightly below last year's $47,425.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more confidently now, but it also means future resale values may depend more heavily on condition and mileage. If you keep the vehicle clean, well maintained, and accident-free, you should be in a better position when it comes time to sell. Demand should remain supported by the model's practical layout and efficiency-focused appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.57% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,281, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $44,309 average.
• It offers an accessible base price and an impressive EPA fuel economy rating.

The 2024 is the better pick if you want the newer model year, strong market availability, and a well-equipped family SUV with broad appeal. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the core Highlander Hybrid formula.
