What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks the condition of the hybrid system, brakes, tires, and interior wear. • Price trend: Prices have softened 7.25% compared with last year.

What is the 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $43,972 sits slightly below last year's $47,410.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more favorably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. For a future seller, the current pricing trend means your return will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle has been maintained.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.25% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $39,372, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $43,972 average.
• It offers an accessible base price and strong fuel economy.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the newer model year with a strong mix of value, inventory, and buyer confidence. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better path, especially if you can find one in excellent condition and you value lower purchase price over the newer-year premium.
