Why it stands out
The 2024 Toyota 4Runner remains a formidable contender in the off-road SUV segment, boasting exceptional all-terrain capabilities and a robust reputation for reliability. Despite its strengths, potential buyers may want to consider its aging platform, which is in dire need of a redesign to better compete with contemporary rivals. The powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine provides 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque, enabling it to handle rugged conditions adeptly, while the spacious cabin offers generous legroom and cargo capacity, making it a great choice for outdoor adventures. However, the handling can feel sluggish on pavement, and its fuel economy is less than impressive, averaging 16 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway. Overall, while the 4Runner has loyal supporters, those looking for a more modern SUV experience might want to hold out for a future redesign.

This is one of the best cars on the market. The only thing i think its missing is a leveling kit. Having it sit a little higher i think makes it easier to see/ safer. The reliability and low car maintenance make this a great option for someone who doesnt want to spend money on repairs.
