Why it stands out
The 2021 Toyota 4Runner is known for its rugged durability and off-road capabilities, making it a solid choice for adventure seekers and families alike. Despite its age, it remains a popular option in the midsize SUV market. With its high ground clearance and powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine that produces 270 horsepower, the 4Runner is designed for tackling tough terrains. Notably, models like the Trail Special Edition highlight its capability with features such as off-road traction control (A-Trac) and generous cargo space. However, potential buyers should be aware of its less-than-ideal fuel economy, averaging just 17 mpg in combined driving, which reflects its authentic SUV design rather than a crossover. Overall, the 4Runner blends style, functionality, and reliability, making it appealing to a diverse range of buyers.

A classic top of the line quality vehicle for the price. The TRD is a fun version but I think the Luxury of the Limited is unmatched and can still be customized if you want. Love the automatic back window!

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. The 4Runner is beautiful inside & out. Hardly any road noise, it has so much room and I love the remote start. It’s everything I’ve wanted and I’ll definitely feel safer on the road with my newborn.
