Used 2024 Subaru Legacy for Sale nearVirginia Beach, VA

How much does the 2024 Subaru Legacy cost?

Prices have softened 2.97% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,097 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2024 Subaru Legacy a good car?

Yes — 5/5 is a strong user rating for the 2024 Subaru Legacy, and it fits a sedan that combines standard all-wheel drive with a long list of safety and technology features. The overview also points to comfort and a practical feature set as key strengths, which makes it appealing if you value all-weather confidence and everyday usability more than flash or outright speed. Its tradeoffs are clear too: dull styling, a cheap-feeling interior, and sluggish performance. Even so, the market still shows 33.9% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Subaru Legacy reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview emphasizes standard all-wheel drive, a broad safety suite, and a more spacious, stiffer, quieter cabin, all of which support the case for dependable everyday use. It also describes this generation as the safest and most technically advanced version of the sedan, which is a helpful sign if you want a used car that feels well sorted. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about the core formula and more about finding a well-kept example that hasn’t been neglected or abused.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Subaru Legacy?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because even a strong accident-free share does not guarantee the specific car you’re considering has a clean past. Put the inspection focus on overall condition, especially signs of wear that could point to harder use or deferred maintenance. Since this model’s appeal comes from its practical equipment and all-weather confidence, make sure the car you choose still feels tight, clean, and well cared for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Subaru Legacy?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you know what to target.

• Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,097 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.97% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $23,748, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Subaru Legacy's resale value?

The current average of $24,890 sits slightly below last year's $25,651.

That softer pricing suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on how well your car is maintained and how clean its history is when it comes time to list it. Because the model’s appeal is tied to practicality, safety, and standard all-wheel drive, a well-kept example should remain easier to market than one with visible wear or a questionable record.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Subaru Legacy or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.2% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.97% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right pick if you want a late-model Legacy with strong market availability, a softer price trend, and the core traits that define the nameplate: standard all-wheel drive, safety, and everyday comfort. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a good balance of inventory, condition, and value if you find one in clean shape and near the lower end of the price range.
