Across all model years, at 64.2% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
| Model Year | Accident-Free % |
|---|---|
| 2026 | 93.3% |
| 2025 | 89.4% |
| 2024 | 87.7% |

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2023 models.
Key things to evaluate:
- Safety package: Honda Sensing, with adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and lane-centering assist.
- Infotainment: a standard 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, text-messaging support, and HondaLink connected services.
- Fuel efficiency: According to the EPA, the Accord LX and EX should return 32 mpg in combined driving.
Which Honda Accord trim should I buy?
The 2023 Honda Accord offers...
- LX: The entry gas-only trim gives you the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, a touchscreen infotainment system, and Honda Sensing, making it the straightforward choice if you want the least expensive way into the redesigned Accord.
- EX: This trim adds an affordable safety package with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert, plus an eight-speaker audio system and durable cloth seats with contrast stitching, so it stands out as the best-value pick for many shoppers.
- Sport: From this trim up, hybrid power is standard, so you get the more efficient setup while staying in the mainstream of the lineup.
- Touring: This upper trim brings the most upscale feel in the 2023 lineup, making it the right fit if you want the most fully equipped version.
What Honda Accord do most buyers choose?
The Honda Accord years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2019.
| Model Year | Total Listings | Good + Great Deals % |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 4,774 | 34.9% |
| 2023 | 4,415 | 33% |
| 2019 | 3,801 | 29.4% |

| 2025 | 3,654 | 35.3% |
| 2022 | 3,537 | 31.4% |
These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of availability, newer features, and a wide spread of pricing. More listings also make it easier to compare condition, equipment, and deal quality before you buy.

The car had two bullet holes. One on the passenger side and one on the hood. It also had water spots and apparent water damage inside as evidenced by the rust to the seat tracks and numerous water stains in the seats. This car should not have been on the lot for sale.

Classic. Reliable. A steal! I owned a 95 Accord V6 30 years with the Acura Legend engine and it was a jewel. This will be a great gas saver and trusty vehicle to get from work and church.

Why it stands out
The 2021 Honda Accord stands out as one of the bestselling cars in the U.S. for good reason. For the 2021 model year, Honda took the Accord in a more elevated direction by refining its features list, adding a trim level, and pricing it to compete against other heavyweights in the industry. Honda also made safety a priority in the 2021 Accord, helping this fresh version earn high praise.
Beyond those updates, the Accord’s appeal comes through in its stylish design, great handling, and spacious cabin. Those strengths make it an easy car to recommend for buyers who want a well-rounded sedan with a polished feel. The main drawbacks are that all-wheel drive is not available and the technology is outdated, so shoppers looking for the latest tech or extra traction may want to keep those limits in mind.
