How much does the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. It stands out in the compact SUV class because it offers a standard third row, giving you seven-passenger seating that many rivals do not match. You also get a more substantial exterior presence, a more modern cabin, and an available digital instrument panel that helps the interior feel more upscale.

For you, that means the Outlander makes the most sense if you want extra seating, a generous feature set, and a distinctive take on the compact SUV formula. The market also shows 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which supports active shopping.

Is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Outlander’s appeal comes from its standard third row, modernized cabin, and available convenience and tech features. It also offers a generous equipment list on higher trims, which can make it feel well equipped for daily use.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that the third row is very small and the powertrain is not especially quick, so you should buy with realistic expectations about performance and space.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the vehicle closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Focus on overall condition, especially the cabin, electronics, and any features you plan to use regularly, since the Outlander’s value is tied heavily to its equipment level.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to compare listings and wait for the right one.

• Deal availability: 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,562 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.66% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 87.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,603, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $22,603 sits slightly below last year's $25,021.

That price movement suggests the Outlander has become more affordable on the used market, which can help you buy at a better entry point today. For a future seller, the softer pricing means resale value may be more sensitive to condition, mileage, and trim level. If you keep the vehicle clean, well maintained, and well documented, you’ll be in a better position to protect value when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 87.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.66% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $25,310, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $22,603 average.
• It adds updated tech and a better sound system.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the better value and a wider pool of used listings to choose from. If you’re willing to pay more for newer tech and a refreshed cabin experience, the 2025 is the better alternative. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2024 is the smarter starting point.
