What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on every candidate, even when the market looks clean, because that helps confirm accident status and ownership background. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on overall condition, electronics, and signs of uneven wear, since this is a premium hybrid where repair costs can add up. Pay close attention to how the cabin, ride quality, and technology features present in person, because those are central to the RX Hybrid’s appeal.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 764 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.75% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.9% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,790, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid's resale value?

The current average of $55,790 sits slightly below last year's $59,829.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled a bit, which can help you buy more carefully now but may also temper near-term resale gains. For a future seller, the current trend means your best resale outcome will likely depend on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped. A well-kept RX Hybrid should still benefit from its premium positioning and broad buyer appeal.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus RX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.9% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 6.75% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $50,617, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $55,790 average.
• It offers multiple hybrid choices in a redesigned RX package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $59,977, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $55,790 average.
• It adds more trim variety and a plush, quiet cabin.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the best balance of current pricing, strong satisfaction, and healthy inventory. If your priority is saving money, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
