How much does the 2024 Lexus LX cost?

Is the 2024 Lexus LX a good car?

The 2024 Lexus LX stands out as a full-size body-on-frame SUV that blends serious off-road hardware with a luxury-first mission. It comes from the fourth generation, which is described as the most luxurious, most rugged, and most advanced version of the LX, and it pairs that with smooth and quiet on-road manners.

For your use case, that means you get standard four-wheel drive, a locking center differential, Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select, hill-descent control, a Multi-Terrain Monitor, and an adjustable suspension with Active Height Control, while still getting a cabin loaded with upscale and practical features. It is especially appealing if you want a luxury SUV that can handle rough terrain without feeling purely utilitarian, though it is expensive, not as spacious as some rivals, and its technology is described as unintuitive.

34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Lexus LX reliable?

The 2024 Lexus LX is described as having a reputation for smooth and quiet on-road manners, and it is positioned as a luxury SUV with genuine off-road ability and a strong feature set. The overview also notes that the current generation has faced engine-related reliability concerns in 2022 to 2024 models.

For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk deserves careful attention, especially if you plan to keep the vehicle for many years or put on higher mileage.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus LX?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the truck has a clean maintenance record, especially given the model’s reported engine-related concerns in recent years. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on drivetrain behavior, suspension operation, and any warning lights or unusual noises. Because this is a luxury SUV with advanced hardware, condition matters as much as mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus LX?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.20% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $89,569, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus LX's resale value?

The current average of $89,597 sits slightly below last year's $97,597.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled from a year ago, which can help you buy more strategically today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may remain strong in absolute terms, but you should not expect the same pricing peak that was available last year. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation exposure later.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus LX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.20% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is the right path if you want the LX’s blend of luxury, off-road hardware, and current-year pricing softness. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may be worth comparing, but the 2024 gives you a strong mix of inventory, clean listings, and a lower average price than a year ago.
