What should I look for when buying a used 2019 Lexus LX?

At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

You should start with a vehicle history report so you can separate clean examples from those with accident records. After that, prioritize a thorough inspection of the body, undercarriage, and off-road hardware, since this SUV is built for more than pavement. You should also focus on overall condition and maintenance evidence, because a luxury SUV with serious capability can hide wear if it has been used hard.

What is the 2019 Lexus LX's resale value?

The current average of $55,923 sits slightly below last year's $56,827.

That kind of softening suggests the market has become a bit more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to price carefully to stay competitive. The LX’s strong reputation for reliability and its luxury-plus-capability appeal should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples with clean histories. If you maintain yours well, it should remain attractive to shoppers who want a durable luxury SUV with real off-road credibility.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2019 Lexus LX or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2019 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2019 if:

• 33.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• At 61.5% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.59% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want a full-size luxury SUV with real off-road hardware and strong owner satisfaction, the 2019 is a solid place to focus your search. If you are especially price-sensitive, you may want to compare nearby model years and prioritize the cleanest, best-maintained example rather than chasing the newest badge alone.
