Used 2024 Lexus IS for Sale near New Jersey

How much does the 2024 Lexus IS cost?

Prices have softened 2.54% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,317 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Lexus IS a good car?

The 2024 Lexus IS stands out as a compact luxury sports sedan with a long-running reputation for being fun to drive, and it remains the entry-level model in the Lexus lineup. It appeals to younger buyers with its comparatively low price point and compact proportions, and it is a strong fit if you want a small sedan that feels premium without losing its sporty character.

That appeal is reinforced by the 2021 refresh, which brought Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, a touchscreen display, NuLuxe synthetic leather seats, passive entry, push-button start, dual automatic climate controls, and standard Lexus Safety System+ features. It is also less practical than some rivals, since the back seat is really tight and cargo space is limited.

With 37.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive listing if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Lexus IS reliable?

The 2024 Lexus IS stands out as a compact luxury sports sedan with a strong reliability reputation, and that is a major part of its appeal. It is aimed at drivers who want a premium-feeling small sedan with a polished character and a sporty edge.

For used buyers, that reputation can help reduce long-term ownership risk, especially if you choose a well-kept example and stay on top of routine maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Lexus IS?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then inspect the car closely for signs of prior damage, uneven wear, or neglected maintenance. Because the IS is a compact sedan with a tight back seat and limited cargo space, condition matters even more if you plan to use it regularly rather than as a weekend driver.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Lexus IS?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer's market, so you can be patient and still find a solid example.

• Deal availability: 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,317 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $41,502, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Lexus IS's resale value?

The current average of $41,510 sits slightly below last year's $42,590.

That suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy at a more favorable entry point today. For a future seller, it also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the car is documented. If you keep the car clean and well maintained, you should be in a better position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2024 Lexus IS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.54% compared with last year.

The bottom line: The 2024 is a sensible choice if you want the latest version in this price band and you value a strong mix of sporty character and premium feel. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may give you a lower entry point, but the 2024 still looks attractive if you can find a clean example with a good deal score.
