Used 2024 Kia Soul for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2024 Kia Soul cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,484 listings available, which suggests you should have a reasonable number of options to compare.

Is the 2024 Kia Soul a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Kia Soul earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview highlights a quirky, boxy personality, lots of room inside, and a value-conscious approach, so you get a small vehicle that emphasizes practicality without giving up character. It also fits well if you want something easy to like, useful for everyday driving, and still affordable relative to many alternatives. With 35.4% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2024 Kia Soul reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The overview also notes that the Soul’s formula includes useful space, good value, and a few modern touches for 2024, including the EX Designer Package and a smart key security update. At the same time, the model line has had some reliability and recall concerns, so used buyers should pay close attention to maintenance records and confirm that any recall work has been completed before you commit.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Kia Soul?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for prior damage, incomplete repairs, and signs of uneven wear. Because the Soul’s appeal is tied to value and practicality, condition matters a lot: look closely at interior wear, electronics, tires, and service records so you know the car has been cared for properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Kia Soul?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best-priced examples.

• Deal availability: 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,484 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $17,102, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $18,096 sits slightly below last year's $18,224.

That small decline suggests the Soul has been holding value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply up or down. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern can be helpful because it points to a market that is relatively predictable. If you buy well now and keep the car in good condition, you should have a reasonable chance of attracting interest later without needing to discount heavily.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $16,856, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $18,096 average.
• It offers a roomy, practical, and value-focused package with a distinctive shape.

The bottom line: If you want the newer model year with stable pricing and strong owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the cleaner pick. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2023 is the better value-oriented alternative.

How does the 2024 Kia Soul compare to the 2024 Honda HR-V?

The Soul is the lower-cost choice both new and used, and it also returns slightly better fuel economy in this comparison. The HR-V brings more horsepower, more listings, and a slightly higher share of good or great deals, but you’ll pay significantly more for it on the used market. If you want the more affordable option with strong value appeal, the Soul makes sense; if you want more power and broader inventory, the HR-V is the stronger cross-shop.
