Used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale near Colorado

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S earns a 7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 8/10.

Jeep positions this as its first electric SUV, and the data backs up a strong performance-minded launch: you get a dual-motor setup, quick acceleration, and a cabin that seats five with reasonable cargo space and a small frunk. It also comes across as fully equipped, with easy-to-use technology and comfortable seats.

The trade-offs are just as clear. Price is a major concern, steering feel is described as lifeless, and the display screens can be distracting because of dust, fingerprints, reflections, and glare.

With 35.0% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is presented as a new electric model with a 100-kWh battery and a dual-motor drivetrain, so your long-term confidence will depend heavily on how the battery, charging system, and software hold up over time. The expert data also describes the vehicle as smooth and refined in freeway use, with predictable brakes and a suspension that handles weight well without adaptive damping.

Jeep includes complimentary maintenance, which helps soften early ownership costs. The battery and charging setup also looks straightforward for daily use: home charging is the natural fit for routine ownership, while DC fast charging is there for longer trips.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that this is an early-production EV with a lot of technology and limited model-year history, so battery health and software behavior deserve extra attention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this SUV leans heavily on electronics, screens, and driver-assistance systems. Focus on cosmetic condition, screen visibility, and whether the charging and software features work cleanly in real-world use.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: For 2024, only the fully loaded Launch Edition is available, so you should expect a well-equipped cabin with upscale materials, but also some lower-cabin plastic trim that looks inexpensive. The standard setup includes a high-tech dashboard with multiple displays, and the safety package is generous for the trim.
• Powertrain: The Wagoneer S uses two 250-kW electric motors for all-wheel drive, and with the over-the-air Propulsion Boost Package applied, output rises to 600 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque. It is tuned for street driving, with strong acceleration and an EPA estimate of 303 miles of range.
• Safety package: Active Driving Assist is standard, pairing adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go capability and lane-centering assistance. You also get collision warning and avoidance systems, intersection collision assist, blind-spot monitoring with High Speed Overtake Warning, surround-view cameras, parking sensors, and self-parking.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, plus additional screens for climate controls and front-passenger use. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, along with wireless charging and a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system.
• Range & charging: The battery is 100.5 kWh, EPA range is 303 miles, DC fast charging can take the battery from 20% to 80% in 23 minutes, and Jeep says home charging takes about nine hours with the available Level 2 charger.
• Battery health: Check battery state-of-health, confirm charging behavior at home and on DC fast chargers, and review how much of the battery warranty remains. For a used EV, that matters more than mileage alone.

Which 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It delivers strong acceleration, a 303-mile EPA range estimate, and a fully equipped Launch Edition cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds more versions at lower price points.

The bottom line: If you want Jeep’s first electric SUV now and value the fully loaded Launch Edition equipment, the 2024 makes sense. If price matters more than being first, waiting for the 2025 lineup is the smarter move because it should open the door to cheaper trims.
