Used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S for Sale nearFort Collins, CO

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S a good car?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S earns a 7/10 expert rating, and Jeep’s first electric SUV is aimed at you if you want strong straight-line performance, real driving range, and a modern five-seat layout. The standout strength is Safety at 8/10. It also brings a dual-motor electric setup, more than 300 miles of range, and a cabin with comfortable seats and easy-to-use technology, so it fits best if you want an EV that feels quick and well equipped rather than merely efficient. The trade-offs are clear: the price is high, steering feel is described as lifeless, and the display screens can be distracting because of dust, fingerprints, reflections, and glare. Good and great deals account for 36.8% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S reliable?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is presented as a well-equipped first effort from Jeep, with a dual-motor electric drivetrain, a 100.5-kWh battery pack, and a driving range estimate of 303 miles that the test results largely supported. The expert evaluation also describes the ride as composed and the brakes as predictable and easy to use, which points to a vehicle that feels sorted in everyday driving. Jeep also includes complimentary maintenance and a complimentary Level 2 home charger offer, which helps soften early ownership costs.

The long-term ownership risk for used buyers is mainly tied to being an early-production EV with a lot of technology and a limited model-year run, so you should pay close attention to software behavior, charging performance, and overall condition.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a high-tech EV with a lot of screen hardware and a premium price tag. Focus on cosmetic condition, screen clarity, charging behavior, and whether the vehicle has been used in a way that matches its battery and drivetrain setup.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: For 2024, only the fully loaded Launch Edition is available, so you should expect a well-equipped SUV rather than a stripped-down value model. The cabin uses sustainable, recycled, and animal-free materials, but some lower cabin trim pieces look inexpensive, and the display-heavy dashboard can be prone to dust, fingerprints, reflections, and glare.
• Powertrain: The Wagoneer S uses two 250-kW electric motors for all-wheel drive, and the over-the-air Propulsion Boost Package raises output to 600 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque. It is tuned for street driving, with strong acceleration and a 400-volt battery pack.
• Safety package: Jeep includes collision warning and avoidance systems, intersection collision assist, blind-spot monitoring with High Speed Overtake Warning, Active Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centering, surround-view cameras, parking sensors, and a self-parking system. There is no hands-free version of the driving-assistance system.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.3-inch digital driver display, a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen, a 10.25-inch climate screen, a 10.25-inch passenger screen, and a 10-inch head-up display. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, along with over-the-air capability through Uconnect 5.
• Range & charging: The EPA estimate is 303 miles of range, the battery capacity is 100.5 kWh, and Jeep says DC fast charging from 20% to 80% takes 23 minutes. Jeep also says a Level 2 home charger can replenish the battery in about nine hours.
• Battery health: As with any used EV, you should ask for charging history, check whether the battery holds range as expected, and confirm that home charging and DC fast charging have been used sensibly. You should also verify how much of the battery warranty remains.

Which 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S trim should I buy?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S is offered in 1 trim level: Launch Edition.

Here's the short version:

The Launch Edition is the only 2024 choice, so your decision is really about whether you want this fully loaded version at its premium price. It brings the full tech-heavy cabin, the dual-motor AWD setup, the strong performance, and the standard driver-assistance suite, so it suits you if you want the most complete version of Jeep’s first electric SUV rather than a lower-cost alternative. It is also the best-value trim by default because there isn’t another 2024 trim to step down to.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop carefully and compare condition, equipment, and pricing before moving quickly.

• Deal availability: 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 193 listings available.
• Clean inventory: 96.9% of listings are accident-free.

Is the 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S safe?

The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S does not have crash-test scores available, so the safety picture here is based on its driver-assistance equipment rather than published crash results.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Jeep equips the Wagoneer S Launch Edition with collision warning and avoidance systems, intersection collision assist, blind-spot monitoring with High Speed Overtake Warning, Active Driving Assist with adaptive cruise control and lane-centering, surround-view cameras, parking sensors, and a self-parking system. Active Driving Assist worked smoothly in testing, though Jeep does not offer a hands-free version. Because crash-test scores are unavailable, you should treat the safety rating as a technology-based assessment rather than a full crash-performance verdict.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 36.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Jeep’s first electric SUV pairs strong acceleration with more than 300 miles of range and a well-equipped cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It adds more versions at lower prices.

The bottom line: Choose the 2024 if you want Jeep’s first electric SUV now and value the fully loaded Launch Edition’s performance and equipment. If you’re more price-sensitive, waiting for the 2025 lineup makes sense because it should broaden the range of trims and lower the entry point.
