Used 2024 Hyundai Venue for Sale nearBuffalo, NY

How much does the 2024 Hyundai Venue cost?

Prices have softened 3.65% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,392 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue a good car?

Yes — you get a 5/5 user rating and a 7.2/10 expert rating, which points to a strong overall case for the money. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 10/10.

The 2024 Venue fits best if you want a budget-friendly crossover SUV with a low starting price, standard wireless smartphone integration, and a value-focused ownership story. Its stylish design and impressive technology help it feel more polished than a bare-bones entry model.

The main trade-offs are sluggish performance and limited space, especially if you regularly carry rear passengers or a lot of cargo. Even so, the model’s strong value proposition and practical urban size make it appealing if you prioritize affordability over speed.

35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Venue’s value story is reinforced by a long warranty, roadside assistance, and complimentary scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles. It is also described as an extremely cost-effective choice, with protection against breakdowns and repairs that helps reduce ownership stress.

Its 121-horsepower four-cylinder engine and front-wheel-drive layout are straightforward, and the model is positioned as a simple, affordable small SUV rather than a complicated one. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that the Venue’s low-cost formula comes with modest performance and limited space, so it makes the most sense if your priorities stay aligned with its strengths.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the car’s equipment and safety features work as expected. If you plan to use the Venue for frequent highway driving or regular passenger duty, make sure its condition matches your needs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The SE, SEL, and Limited trims are distinct, and the SEL is the minimum recommended upgrade because it looks better and adds desirable convenience and important safety features. The Limited trim adds a navigation system, SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charger, and Bluelink+.
• Powertrain: The Venue uses a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine with 121 horsepower and front-wheel drive. It is tuned for city and suburban use, and the CVT helps maximize the available power.
• Safety package: Hyundai SmartSense includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert is added starting with SEL, and cyclist detection is standard on Limited.
• Infotainment: The Venue has an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Bluetooth with music streaming, Bluelink connected services, and a six-speaker sound system. The Limited adds navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, and a wireless smartphone charger, but it switches to wired smartphone integration.
• Fuel efficiency: The Venue earns 31 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2024 Hyundai Venue trim should I buy?

The 2024 Hyundai Venue is offered in 3 trim levels: SE, SEL, and Limited.

Here's the short version:

• SE: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Venue’s core value formula with the standard engine, standard wireless smartphone integration, and the full SmartSense safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest price and can live without the extra convenience and safety upgrades.
• SEL: This is the best-value trim because it adds desirable convenience and important safety features, and the review specifically recommends it as the minimum upgrade. If you want the sweet spot between price and equipment, this is the one to target.
• Limited: This is the most feature-rich version, adding navigation, SiriusXM satellite radio, a wireless smartphone charger, and Bluelink+ for the original owner. Choose it if you want the most upscale Venue experience and are willing to pay more for it.

Starting with the Venue SEL, SmartSense adds blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and Limited adds cyclist detection.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Hyundai Venue?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,392 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.65% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $18,721, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $18,831 sits slightly below last year's $19,545.

That price movement suggests the Venue has softened a bit, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. Even so, the model’s value-focused reputation and strong equipment list should help it remain appealing to budget-minded shoppers.

If you buy well and keep the vehicle in good condition, the Venue’s affordability and practical appeal should support steady demand. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Hyundai Venue safe?

The 2024 Venue gets Good ratings in three different IIHS crash tests, coupled with an Acceptable rating for the Limited trim level’s brighter LED headlights, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives it an overall four-star rating.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Hyundai SmartSense is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, a driver monitoring system, and a rear-seat reminder system. Blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert starts with SEL, and cyclist detection is standard on Limited.

The main caveat is that adaptive cruise control and lane-centering assist are not available on the 2024 Venue. The safety systems also produced a few inaccurate alerts and responses during testing, so you should still pay attention to how the vehicle behaves on your test drive.

Should I buy a 2024 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.65% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2024 model stands out for its budget-friendly value, standard wireless smartphone integration, long warranty coverage, and complimentary scheduled maintenance.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of value, equipment, and current market softness, the 2024 is the right place to start. If your priority is simply the lowest possible purchase price, a nearby year may still be worth comparing, but the 2024’s combination of features and pricing makes it the safer default choice.
