Used 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV for Sale nearFort Worth, TX

How much does the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV cost?

Prices have softened 11.71% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 258 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV a good car?

Yes — the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Hummer EV SUV is built for you if you want an attention-grabbing electric SUV with real utility, since it offers up to 81.8 cubic feet of cargo space and can travel up to 314 miles on a charge. It also leans hard into Hummer design and capability, which makes it feel purpose-built rather than conventional.

The trade-offs are just as clear: it is inefficient, has poor visibility, and produces lots of tire and wind noise. Those compromises matter most if you want a quiet, easy-to-live-with daily driver rather than a statement vehicle.

31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still some attractive opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Hummer EV SUV is presented as a vehicle that rewards buyers who understand its compromises up front. Its electric-drive setup is described as impressive, and the ownership experience is framed around accepting its size, visibility limits, and operating quirks.

The performance notes also point to a heavy, powerful SUV that can feel demanding to drive, especially given its weight and the way it behaves under hard acceleration. On the cost side, it is described as expensive to buy and inefficient to operate, so long-term ownership works best if you are comfortable with higher running costs and the wear that comes with large tires.

If you buy one, plan on careful battery and charging habits, and expect long-term ownership to be more about accepting the vehicle’s character than minimizing expense.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and inspect the vehicle closely, especially because this is a large, expensive EV with a lot of specialized hardware. Pay extra attention to tire wear, charging behavior, visibility-related wear points, and any signs that the vehicle has been used hard off-road or in tight urban environments.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Hummer EV SUV is offered in 2X, 3X, and 3X Omega Limited Edition trim levels. The 2X is the entry point, while the 3X and 3X Omega Limited Edition add more of the high-end equipment and capability that define the model. If you want the best-value trim, the 3X is the one to focus on because it captures the core Hummer EV experience without pushing all the way to the limited-edition top end.
• Powertrain: The test vehicle uses a three-motor setup with up to 860 horsepower and 11,500 pound-feet of torque when using Watts to Freedom. It is built to feel extreme rather than efficient, and the heavy chassis means you should expect a lot of mass to manage on the road.
• Safety package: The 2X, 3X, and 3X Omega Limited Edition all come with adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front and rear pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and a surround-view camera system. Super Cruise is standard, too, with a three-year subscription.
• Infotainment: You get a configurable 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 13.4-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included, and over-the-air updates help keep the system current.
• Range & charging: The SUV can travel up to 314 miles on a charge. It is compatible with 300-kilowatt DC fast charging, and GMC says you can add 100 miles of range in as few as 14 minutes under ideal conditions.
• Battery health: For a used EV, you should check battery state-of-health, confirm how the vehicle has been charged, and look for signs of frequent DC fast charging versus mostly home charging. Also verify how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection you still have.

Which 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV is offered in 3 trim levels: 2X, 3X, and 3X Omega Limited Edition.

Here's the short version:

• 2X: This is the starting point if you want the Hummer EV SUV experience with the least expensive entry. It still gives you the core design, technology, and standard driver-assistance equipment, so it makes sense if you want the model’s personality without chasing every extra feature.
• 3X: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it captures the Hummer EV SUV’s full character, including the stronger performance and more complete capability story that define the model. If you want the version that best matches the vehicle’s image and hardware, this is the one to target.
• 3X Omega Limited Edition: Choose this only if you specifically want the limited-edition version and are willing to pay for exclusivity. It is the most specialized trim in the lineup and is best for buyers who care as much about rarity as they do about equipment.

Super Cruise is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up trims just to get that safety and convenience feature.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 258 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.71% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $67,404, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV's resale value?

The current average of $67,439 sits slightly below last year's $76,383.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you as a buyer today but may also mean future sellers need to price more competitively. If you own one for a while, resale will likely depend on how well the vehicle’s condition, battery health, and equipment hold up over time.

Because this model has a strong identity and a clear audience, well-kept examples should continue to attract attention. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV safe?

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The Hummer EV SUV 2X, 3X, and 3X Omega Limited Edition all come with a comprehensive collection of driver assistance systems. The standard list includes adaptive cruise control, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, front and rear pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring with trailer coverage, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, and a surround-view camera system.

Super Cruise is standard and includes a three-year subscription to service. It adds hands-free driving capability on more than 200,000 miles of approved roads in North America by pairing adaptive cruise control with lane-centering assistance.

One caveat is that the driver aids were not always consistent during testing, so you should verify that the systems operate properly on any used example you consider. The vehicle also has no crash-test ratings listed here.

Should I buy a 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 31.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.71% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It offers up to 81.8 cubic feet of cargo space, up to 314 miles of range, and a strong mix of Hummer design, Hummer capability, and impressive technology.

The bottom line: If you want the Hummer EV SUV’s distinctive design, strong tech, and serious capability, the 2024 is the right target. If you are more price-sensitive, shop carefully for the lowest-priced examples and focus on condition, battery health, and feature content rather than chasing the newest or most exclusive trim.
