Used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV for Sale nearDenver, CO

How much does the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV cost?

Prices have softened 11.19% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,692 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used examples to compare.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV earns a 5/5 user rating and an 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Cost effectiveness at 9/10.

The overview points to a comfortable electric crossover that uses a familiar name to make EV ownership feel less intimidating, while the expert review emphasizes its dedicated EV architecture and hard-to-beat price point. That makes it a strong fit if you want a mainstream-feeling EV with a clear value angle rather than a flashy performance focus.

The main trade-offs are fairly pedestrian performance and some desirable features that cost extra. Even so, the combination of impressive electric range and a quiet cabin makes it appealing if your priorities are comfort, efficiency, and everyday usability.

The market backs that up, with 42.3% of listings priced as good or great deals.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview and expert review both frame this as a straightforward, comfort-first EV built on a dedicated electric platform rather than adapted from a gas model. That usually helps simplify the ownership experience, and the expert notes also point to a battery warranty that supports long-term confidence.

The performance notes add that the vehicle is designed to feel normal and easy to live with, with one-pedal driving available across trims and multiple drive modes to tailor the experience. The cost-effectiveness notes also mention an eight-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, which is a useful ownership cushion for a used-EV buyer.

For a used example, your biggest long-term risk is battery condition, so you should verify charging behavior and overall battery health before you buy.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on an EV where battery condition and charging behavior matter. Focus on how the car was used, whether it has any accident or repair history, and whether the cabin and exterior show signs of heavy wear.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The lineup includes LT and RS versions, with 1LT, 2LT, and 3LT as well as 2RS and 3RS variants. The base trim is the most stripped-down version, while higher trims add more interior color choices, larger wheels, and more available equipment. If you want the best value, the 2LT stands out because it balances equipment and availability better than the lower and higher trims.
• Powertrain: You can find single-motor front-wheel-drive versions and dual-motor all-wheel-drive versions. The FWD setup makes 213 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque, while AWD raises output to 288 horsepower and 333 lb-ft of torque. One-pedal driving is available, and the drive modes include Tour, Sport, Snow/Ice, and My Mode.
• Safety package: Chevy Safety Assist is standard, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, forward collision alert, automatic high beams, and more. The Equinox EV also gets standard rear park assist, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic braking, blind-zone steering assist, Safety Alert Seat, traffic-sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control. Super Cruise becomes available starting with the 2LT trim.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 17.7-inch infotainment touchscreen and an 11-inch driver-information screen. Google Built-In is standard, but standalone Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are not included. An eight-year OnStar Remote Access Plan subscription is also included.
• Range & charging: FWD models are estimated at 319 miles of range, while AWD models are estimated at 285 miles. The battery is 85 kWh, and DC fast charging can reach up to 150 kW, with about 77 miles of range added in 10 minutes.
• Battery health: Check the battery state of health, confirm that charging has been consistent and normal, and ask how often the car has relied on home charging versus DC fast charging. You should also confirm how much of the battery warranty remains so you know what protection is left.

Which 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV trim should I buy?

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV is offered in 6 trim levels: LT, RS, 1LT, 2LT, 3LT, 2RS, and 3RS.

Here's the short version:

• 1LT: This is the future entry point, but it is not the best choice if you want the most complete ownership experience right away. It keeps the Equinox EV’s core value and range story intact, but you may prefer a higher trim if you want more equipment and broader availability.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers. It is the current effective starting point, it unlocks Super Cruise availability, and it gives you a strong mix of comfort, tech, and safety without pushing too far up the price ladder.
• 3LT: Choose this if you want more equipment and a more upscale feel than the 2LT. It adds to the comfort-and-tech story, but you should only move up if the extra features matter to you.
• 2RS: This is the better pick if you want the sportier look and feel. It adds the RS styling direction and more visual flair, but it is less about value than the 2LT.
• 3RS: This is the most expressive version in the lineup. It suits you if you want the sportiest appearance and the most feature-rich RS setup, but it is the least value-focused choice.

Super Cruise becomes available starting with the 2LT trim, so that is the key safety-package note to keep in mind.

• Inventory: There are 1,692 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.19% compared with last year.

If you find a listing below $24,744, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV's resale value?

The current average of $24,744 sits slightly below last year's $27,861.

That price movement suggests the used market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that also means resale value will depend heavily on condition, mileage, and how well the vehicle is equipped.

Because the model has strong value appeal and a broad shopper base, well-kept examples should remain easier to move than less practical EVs. Trim choice and battery condition will matter a lot when it is time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV safe?

The 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV earns a Good rating from IIHS and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Chevy Safety Assist is standard, including automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane-departure warning, forward collision alert, automatic high beams, and more. The Equinox EV also gets standard rear park assist, reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic braking, blind-zone steering assist, Safety Alert Seat, traffic-sign recognition, and adaptive cruise control.

Super Cruise becomes available starting with the 2LT trim, so higher trims add a meaningful hands-free highway-driving advantage. GM’s Teen Driver Technology is also standard, which is useful if you plan to share the vehicle with a newer driver.

Should I buy a 2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 42.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.19% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It delivers a dedicated EV platform with strong range and a quiet cabin.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $26,734, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $24,744 average.
• It emphasizes affordability, comfort, and more than 300 miles of range.

The bottom line: If you want the better used-value play, the 2024 is the smarter buy because prices are softer and deal availability is strong. If you want the newer model-year setup and are willing to pay more, the 2025 is the cleaner alternative for shoppers focused on range and everyday practicality.
