Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV stands out as a full-size luxury SUV built around space, presence, and high-end features, and its long-wheelbase body gives you more room for passengers and cargo than the standard Escalade. It also pairs that extra space with independent rear suspension, which improves ride and handling while helping cargo capacity. For you, that means a premium three-row SUV that leans heavily into comfort, technology, and utility. There are 38.3% good or great deals in the market, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV is built around a straightforward luxury-SUV formula: a large cabin, available advanced tech, and a choice of gas or diesel powertrains paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety equipment includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and lane-keeping assist, and Super Cruise is available. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is the usual one for a large luxury SUV: higher running costs and the possibility that expensive features can be costly to maintain if they need attention.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with the history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and then prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin electronics, suspension, and any available luxury equipment. Because this model is defined by space, comfort, and technology, you’ll want to focus on overall condition, signs of heavy use, and whether the features you care about work as intended.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV?

This is a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,059 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.68% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $77,220, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV's resale value?

The current average of $77,220 sits slightly below last year's $88,438.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can matter if you plan to sell later. A lower current average can make the model more approachable for you now, but it also means future resale will depend on how well the vehicle holds demand relative to its size, equipment, and condition. If you buy carefully and keep the SUV in strong shape, you’ll be better positioned when it’s time to trade or sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac Escalade ESV or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 38.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 12.68% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current pricing, inventory depth, and owner satisfaction, the 2024 is the primary year to target. If you’re especially price-sensitive, a nearby older year may be worth a look, but you’ll want to balance that against condition, equipment, and how much of the premium-luxury experience you’re giving up.
