Used 2024 Cadillac CT5 for Sale near New York

How much does the 2024 Cadillac CT5 cost?

Prices have softened 11.70% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,040 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 a good car?

Yes — the 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns a 5/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10.

The CT5 is a midsize luxury sedan that holds the line against updated competition, and it still stands out for its stylish design, multiple powertrain options, and engaging driving character. Those traits make it a strong fit if you want a sedan that feels more distinctive than purely practical.

The trade-offs are clear: cargo space is limited, advanced safety features are not standard, and the interior design is only mediocre. Even so, it remains a multitalented luxury sedan and a decent value if you prioritize style and driving enjoyment in a midsize package.

Good and great deals account for 32.7% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The CT5 carries over unchanged for 2024, which can be a plus if you want a familiar setup rather than a first-year redesign. Its powertrain lineup and overall execution also point to a car that is built to serve as a mainstream luxury sedan rather than a niche experiment.

Cadillac’s performance notes describe the CT5 as enjoyable to drive, with neutral handling and a balanced ride that still feels composed on the road. The cost-effectiveness notes also point to a strong warranty package, which helps support ownership confidence.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a well-equipped CT5 can be optioned heavily, so condition and maintenance history matter a lot.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the vehicle history report carefully, because accident-free status does not replace a full inspection. Pay close attention to tire wear, brake condition, and any signs that the car was used hard, especially if it has larger wheels or performance-oriented equipment. It also makes sense to confirm that the features you want are actually present, since some of the most desirable equipment is optional.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base CT5 Luxury is the entry point, while Premium Luxury and Sport add more equipment and a more upscale or athletic presentation. The Sport trim also gets styling touches like a rear spoiler and alloy pedals, while the cabin quality remains a weak point even on better-equipped versions.
• Powertrain: You can get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 237 horsepower, a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 with 335 hp, or higher-performance CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing variants. The lineup gives you a wide spread of power and character, and the V6 and V-series models are the ones to focus on if you want stronger acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assist features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Premium Luxury and Sport models can also be equipped with Super Cruise, and that system is one of the CT5’s biggest safety-tech advantages.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The Technology Package adds a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a head-up display, and wireless phone charging is standard.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four is rated at 27 mpg combined with RWD and 25 mpg combined with AWD, while the twin-turbo V6 returns 22 mpg combined with RWD and 21 mpg combined with AWD.

Which 2024 Cadillac CT5 trim should I buy?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is offered in 5 trim levels: CT5 Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, CT5-V, CT5-V Blackwing.

Here's the short version:

• CT5 Luxury: This is the least expensive way into the CT5, and it gives you the core sedan experience with the standard turbo-four, the 10-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone integration, and the full standard safety suite. It makes sense if you want the CT5’s style and driving character without stretching for extras.
• Premium Luxury: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds a more upscale feel and unlocks desirable options like the Technology Package and Super Cruise. If you want the CT5 to feel most complete without jumping into the performance models, this is the one to target.
• Sport: Choose this if you want the same general equipment level as Premium Luxury but prefer the sportier appearance and available tech upgrades. It suits you best if styling matters as much as features.
• CT5-V: This is the trim to buy if you want a stronger performance focus and more power than the standard models. It is the right choice if you care more about driving excitement than everyday value.
• CT5-V Blackwing: This is the top performance model, with the most extreme hardware and the most serious enthusiast appeal. It makes sense only if you want the highest-output CT5 and are willing to pay for it.

Premium Luxury and Sport models can also be equipped with Super Cruise, which is the standout safety-tech upgrade to look for.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Cadillac CT5?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you stay patient.

• Deal availability: 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,040 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.70% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,104, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Cadillac CT5's resale value?

The current average of $38,172 sits slightly below last year's $43,232.

That decline suggests the CT5 has become more affordable on the used market, which can help you buy in at a better price today. For a future seller, that also means resale value may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment rather than just the badge alone.

Because the model has softened over the past year, a clean, well-optioned example should stand out more than a rough one. If you keep the car in strong shape and document maintenance, you improve your odds of holding value better than the average listing.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2024 Cadillac CT5 safe?

The 2024 Cadillac CT5 earns five-star ratings in frontal, side, and rollover crash tests, and a five-star overall rating from NHTSA.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind-spot monitoring, a rear-seat reminder, buckle-to-drive, and a vibrating Safety Alert Seat. Premium Luxury and Sport models can also be equipped with Super Cruise, Cadillac’s hands-free driver-assist system.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you may need to move up from the base trim or add options to get the full suite you want.

Should I buy a 2024 Cadillac CT5 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 32.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 11.70% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged and remains a multitalented luxury sedan with a decent value proposition.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $34,503, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $38,172 average.
• It emphasizes stylish design, sharp handling, and impressive technology.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $43,340, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $38,172 average.
• It adds a new 33-inch display and more standard and available tech.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, style, and driving enjoyment, the 2024 is the smart default. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the value play; if you want newer tech and more safety content, the 2025 is the upgrade path.
