You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches its asking price. Focus on wear items, signs of hard use, and whether the car’s equipment and condition line up with the seller’s description.

What is the 2024 BMW M3's resale value?

The current average of $88,805 sits slightly below last year's $89,096.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For you, that can mean less downside risk if you buy carefully and keep the car in strong condition. Because the M3 has held its value well, a clean, well-kept example should remain easier to resell than many performance sedans.

Vehicles with solid owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
