Should I buy a 2024 BMW M3 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4/5 — a solid satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $81,134, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $88,577 average.
• It blends performance, practicality, and luxury into one package.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $90,035, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $88,577 average.
• It adds mid-cycle updates while keeping the core performance formula fresh.

The bottom line: You should start with the 2024 if you want the current-year balance of price stability, strong satisfaction, and solid inventory quality. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2023 is the better value path, especially if you want to spend less while still getting the M3’s core strengths.
