How much does the 2024 BMW 3 Series cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 2,070 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and conditions.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2024 BMW 3 Series stands out because it blends performance, handling, and luxury in a versatile four-door sedan, with a lineup that ranges from the 330i to the M3. It also brings useful everyday appeal through standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air software updates, and an available head-up display. For you, that means a premium sports sedan that still works as a daily driver, especially if you want a balance of driving enjoyment and practicality. 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 BMW 3 Series reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2024 BMW 3 Series is described as a complex and expensive car to buy and own, so you should expect ownership costs and maintenance planning to matter. For used buyers, that means reliability may be less about simple mechanical durability and more about choosing a well-kept example with a clean service history.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks electronics, drivetrain behavior, and signs of heavy use. Pay close attention to cabin condition, tire wear, brake wear, and whether the car’s features work as intended, since this model leans heavily on technology and premium equipment. If you’re considering a 330e, inspect cargo-area usability and battery-related packaging effects carefully.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 BMW 3 Series?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the best examples.

• Deal availability: 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,070 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $36,647, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 BMW 3 Series's resale value?

The current average of $36,772 sits slightly below last year's $36,851.

That small decline suggests the market has stayed relatively stable, which is helpful if you plan to resell later. You’re not looking at a steep drop in value, so a well-bought example should remain reasonably competitive in the used market. Strong condition and a clean history will matter most if you want to protect your future return.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 BMW 3 Series or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 34.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $33,822, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $36,772 average.
• It offers refreshed styling and updated cabin tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $40,546, the 2025 costs more than the current year's $36,772 average.
• It adds refinements and keeps the driving experience polished.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price stability, strong inventory, and broad appeal, the 2024 is the primary path to consider. If your budget is tighter, the 2023 is the better price-sensitive alternative, while the 2025 makes sense if you want to spend more for newer refinements.
