Used 2023 Toyota Supra for Sale near Pennsylvania

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra a good car?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns a 7.3/10 expert rating, and the standout strength is Performance at 9/10. The 2023 update matters because the manual transmission finally arrives, which broadens the car’s appeal if you want a sports car that feels more involving and rewarding to drive. That lines up with the Supra’s core strengths: balanced weight distribution, precise steering, and a strong performance focus.

The trade-offs are just as clear. Advanced safety features are not standard, and the car can suffer from buffeting when the windows are open. Even so, if you value driving enjoyment above practicality, the Supra remains a compelling choice.

Good and great deals account for 26.8% of listings, which gives you a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra reliable?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is presented as a sports car that still includes meaningful safety equipment and a strong ownership package, which helps support confidence for used buyers. ToyotaCare adds a 2-year, 25,000-mile complimentary maintenance plan, including factory-scheduled service and roadside assistance, which is a useful ownership perk early on.

From a dependability standpoint, the car’s performance focus is paired with a manual transmission that Toyota says is worthy of the Supra, and the overall package is built around a proven rear-wheel-drive sports-car formula. The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that this is still a highly specialized performance coupe, so you should expect higher sensitivity to condition, maintenance history, and prior use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota Supra?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, because a clean listing percentage does not replace a proper records review. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that focuses on signs of hard driving, tire and brake wear, and any evidence of cosmetic or mechanical neglect. Because this is a low-slung sports coupe, condition matters as much as mileage.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The 2.0 trim is the entry point and uses a smaller infotainment setup and simpler audio equipment, while the 3.0 trim adds the stronger six-cylinder setup and a more satisfying stereo. The 3.0 Premium and A91 trims add more tech and available driver-assistance equipment, so the lower trims are the ones with the biggest feature gaps.
• Powertrain: The car offers a 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 255 horsepower and a 3.0-liter six-cylinder with 382 horsepower. The manual transmission is offered for 2023, but not with the 2.0-liter engine.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking are available on the 3.0 Premium and A91 trims.
• Infotainment: The 2.0 uses an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a four-speaker stereo, Bluetooth, USB inputs, AM, FM, and satellite radio. The 3.0 adds a 10-speaker stereo, while the 3.0 Premium and A91 add a 12-speaker JBL system, navigation, wireless Apple CarPlay, voice recognition, and a Qi-compatible wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: The automatic six-cylinder Supra is rated at 22 mpg city and 30 mpg highway, while the manual six-cylinder version is rated at 19 mpg city and 27 mpg highway.

Which 2023 Toyota Supra trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota Supra is offered in 4 trim levels: 2.0, 3.0, 3.0 Premium, A91.

Here's the short version:

• 2.0: This is the least expensive way into the Supra, but it is also the most stripped-down version. It makes sense only if you want the badge and the basic sports-car shape at the lowest entry price.
• 3.0: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it brings the six-cylinder engine and a much stronger performance experience without jumping straight to the highest-priced versions.
• 3.0 Premium: This is the trim to choose if you want the better tech and the available driver-assistance upgrades, including the features that are not standard on lower trims.
• A91: This is the most feature-rich version mentioned here, and it suits you if you want the top-end equipment and the most upscale presentation.

Blind-spot monitoring and the other advanced driver-assistance features are not standard on every trim, so check carefully if those matter to you.

Is the 2023 Toyota Supra safe?

The 2023 Toyota Supra earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-departure warning with steering assist, stability control, traction control, and brake assist as standard equipment. Adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear automatic emergency braking are available on the 3.0 Premium and A91 trims, so you should confirm whether the specific car you’re considering has the safety equipment you want. One caveat is that blind-spot monitoring is not standard, even though the car’s small windows make it especially useful.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota Supra or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• The manual transmission finally arrives, making the Supra more engaging for enthusiasts.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It delivers the same driver-focused coupe formula with a strong performance edge.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the more engaging version of the Supra, especially because the manual transmission changes the car’s character in a meaningful way. If you are price-sensitive and do not care about the manual, the 2022 remains a sensible alternative because it delivers the same core sports-car appeal.
