Used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla for Sale nearPhiladelphia, PA

How much does the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla cost?

Prices are up 3.08% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 206 listings available, which suggests a modest amount of inventory for shoppers to compare.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla a good car?

With a user rating of 3.67/5 and an expert rating of 7.33/10, the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla looks like a strong enthusiast pick rather than a broad-appeal compact hatchback. The overview and test-drive notes point to a car that turns the Corolla name into a true hot hatch, with a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine, standard all-wheel drive, and a performance-first setup that should appeal if you want something lively and capable.

The model scores 9/10 across Performance and Safety.

The trade-offs are clear: the design may be polarizing, and it is described as noisy, so you should expect more drama than refinement. That makes it a better fit if you value handling, power, and everyday hatchback practicality over quiet commuting. With 38.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla reliable?

The overview and expert notes suggest a car built with serious performance hardware and standard all-wheel drive, which points to a robust, purpose-built setup rather than a soft commuter tune. The performance notes also emphasize strong rigidity, a manual transmission with rev-matching, and a chassis that feels composed even when driven hard.

Toyota also includes a broad set of standard safety and driver-assistance features, which supports confidence in day-to-day use. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that this is a high-strung performance model, so condition, maintenance history, and how it was driven matter more than they would on a typical Corolla.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially because this is a performance-focused hatchback that may have seen harder use than an ordinary commuter car. Pay close attention to tire wear, brake condition, signs of track use, and whether the car has been modified or driven aggressively.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Core trim is the most accessible entry point, while the Circuit Edition adds more performance hardware and the Morizo Edition goes further with a more focused setup. The base Core is the one most likely to leave you wanting the extra hardware if you plan to drive hard.
• Powertrain: Every GR Corolla uses a 1.6-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine with a six-speed manual and standard all-wheel drive. Core and Circuit trims make 300 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque, while the Morizo increases torque to 295 pound-feet.
• Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign assistance. Blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines are also standard.
• Infotainment: The cabin gets an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, dual-device Bluetooth connectivity, and a 12.3-inch driver information display. The available eight-speaker JBL stereo is offered on the Core and Circuit trims, but not the Morizo.
• Fuel efficiency: No MPG or MPGe figure is stated in the provided data.

Which 2023 Toyota GR Corolla trim should I buy?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla is offered in 3 trim levels: Core, Circuit Edition, and Morizo Edition.

Here's the short version:

• Core: This is the entry point and the best-value choice if you want the GR Corolla experience without stretching to the pricier trims. You still get the 300-horsepower turbo-three, standard all-wheel drive, a manual transmission, and the full safety suite, plus the available performance, technology, and cold-weather packages if you want to add equipment selectively.
• Circuit Edition: This is the sweet spot if you want more performance hardware than the Core without jumping all the way to the Morizo. It adds front and rear limited-slip differentials and a carbon-fiber roof, and the expert notes describe it as the Goldilocks value trim.
• Morizo Edition: This is the most focused version, with 295 pound-feet of torque, closer gearing, more structural bracing, and a rear-seat delete. It makes the most sense if you care most about track-day performance and can live with the reduced practicality.

Toyota’s standard safety package is comprehensive across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance features.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Toyota GR Corolla?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you should shop carefully and be ready to move when you find a strong listing.

• Deal availability: 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 206 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.08% year-over-year.
• Clean inventory: 90.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $35,675, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla's resale value?

The current average of $36,882 sits slightly above last year's $35,780.

That year-over-year increase suggests the GR Corolla is holding value reasonably well for a used performance hatchback. If you buy one in good condition, you may have a better chance of preserving value than you would with a more ordinary compact car, especially if you keep mileage reasonable and avoid heavy modification.

The current price trend also signals that demand remains healthy, which can help future resale prospects. For a seller, that means a clean, well-kept example should still attract attention, particularly if it has desirable equipment and a strong service record.

Is the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla safe?

The 2023 Toyota GR Corolla earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Toyota Safety Sense is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane-departure assist with steering assist, lane-tracing assist, adaptive cruise control, and road-sign assistance. It also comes with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and a rear-view camera with parking aid lines, plus ten airbags.

The main caveat is that the provided data does not include crash-test results from NHTSA or IIHS, so you should lean on the standard equipment list rather than published test scores when evaluating safety.

Should I buy a 2023 Toyota GR Corolla or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices are up 3.08% year-over-year.
• The 2023 stands out as an all-new hot hatch with standard all-wheel drive, a 1.6-liter turbo-three, and a strong expert score that highlights its performance-first character.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of this hot hatch and value its standard performance and safety equipment, the 2023 is the right place to start. If you are more price-sensitive, keep an eye on listings near the low end of the range and be ready to compare condition closely, since the market still rewards clean examples.
