How much does the 2023 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have softened 8.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 368 listings available, which gives you a meaningful amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — you’re looking at a model with a 5/5 user rating and a 6.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The 2023 Panamera stands out because it blends Porsche’s sports-car styling cues with the practicality of a four-door grand tourer. It is also offered in three body styles and with multiple drivetrains, giving you a wider range of configurations than many luxury performance cars. For you, that means it can work as both a special-feeling daily driver and a practical long-distance car.

The trade-offs are clear: brake pedal feel on winding roads is a concern, and the Bose audio system is unimpressive. Its performance value for the money is also not especially strong.

With 33.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Panamera is described as a successful model with a strong blend of Porsche performance and everyday practicality. It also has a good reliability record in the broader model-year context, and the 2023 version adds standard adaptive cruise control, which improves day-to-day convenience.

The twin-turbo V6 and PDK make a fantastic powertrain, and the car is easy to drive smoothly in traffic and at intersections. The first scheduled maintenance visit is on the house.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that ownership costs can still be high even when the car itself feels well engineered.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-spec example with more equipment. Focus on overall condition, because the Panamera’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been maintained and how complete its luxury and performance features feel in person.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo each bring different body styles and levels of everyday usefulness. The Platinum Edition adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and a Premium Package with 14-way power-adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation, heated rear seats, four-zone automatic climate control, adaptive LED headlights, and blind-spot monitoring.
• Powertrain: The base setup uses a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 with 325 horsepower and an eight-speed PDK transmission. Porsche also offers rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive, and the broader lineup spans multiple engines, including a plug-in hybrid based on a twin-turbocharged V8 with an electric motor.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors. The Assistance Package adds a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist.
• Infotainment: The cabin uses a 12.3-inch center touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L, Connect Plus connected services, and a wireless smartphone charger.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the base setup should return 20 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 19.3 mpg on a mountainous route.

Which 2023 Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera is offered in 3 trim levels: Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo.

Here's the short version:

• Panamera: This is the trim to start with if you want the core Panamera experience with the base twin-turbo V6, rear-wheel drive, and the model’s strongest mix of style, practicality, and everyday usability. It’s the best-value choice if you care most about getting into the Panamera lineup without paying for extra body-style complexity.
• Panamera Executive: Choose this if you want the extended-wheelbase layout and a more spacious, chauffeur-friendly feel. It suits you best if rear-seat comfort matters more than the standard body style.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: Pick this if you want the wagon-style body and the most cargo-friendly version of the lineup. It’s the right fit if you want the Panamera’s performance character with extra utility.

The Platinum Edition adds desirable equipment, but the safety package note is worth remembering: adaptive cruise control is standard on all 2023 Panameras.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop carefully and still find worthwhile opportunities.

• Deal availability: 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 368 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $81,158, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $81,158 sits slightly below last year's $88,980.

That price movement suggests the market has become more favorable for buyers, but it also means future sellers may need to be realistic about pricing. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later. The Panamera’s broad appeal as a practical luxury performance car should help support demand, especially for well-kept examples.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera safe?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera earns Good marks from IIHS testing.

It earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Porsche fortifies the Panamera Platinum Edition with adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors. If you want more, the available Assistance Package adds a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist.

One caveat is that the lane-departure warning system can struggle to distinguish pavement seams from lane markings. Adaptive cruise control is standard for 2023, but some advanced features still depend on trim or package selection.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.79% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year’s key update is that adaptive cruise control is standard instead of optional.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the Panamera’s blend of style, practicality, and standard convenience at a softer used-car price. If you’re especially price-sensitive, you can shop aggressively for a lower-mileage example near the bottom of the range and still get a well-equipped luxury performance car.
