Is the 2024 Porsche Panamera a good car?

The 2024 Porsche Panamera stands out because it blends Porsche performance with four-door practicality in a way few luxury sedans can match. It is a heavily updated version of the second-generation car, retaining much of its basic structure while adding updated powertrains, tech, and bodywork changes that go beyond a typical mid-life refresh. That combination gives it the familiar Panamera mix of sportiness and luxury, while keeping the car’s appeal rooted in everyday usability rather than pure showmanship.

For you, that means the Panamera makes the most sense if you want a luxury sedan that feels genuinely athletic but still works as a daily driver. The broad lineup and generous standard equipment support that role well, especially if you value comfort, convenience, and versatility alongside performance. 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

You should still run a vehicle history report and confirm the car’s service records before you commit. That price movement suggests the market has cooled enough to help you buy more favorably today, but it also means future resale may depend heavily on condition, mileage, and maintenance history. If you keep the car clean and well-documented, you should be in a better position to protect value when it is time to sell. The current pricing also gives you a clearer benchmark for judging whether a used listing is fairly priced or still carrying too much premium.

Should I buy a 2024 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 30.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.49% compared with last year.

Consider the 2023 if:

• At $81,158, the 2023 costs less than the current year's $93,077 average.
• It offers a wider range of configurations and strong everyday usability.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2024 if you want the newer, more updated Panamera and are comfortable paying more for it. If your priority is value, the 2023 is the better secondary path because it delivers the Panamera formula at a meaningfully lower price.
