Used 2023 Porsche Panamera for Sale near Illinois

How much does the 2023 Porsche Panamera cost?

Prices have softened 8.41% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 367 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of used Panameras to compare.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Porsche Panamera earns a 5/5 user rating and a 6.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Look and feel at 9/10.

The Panamera’s appeal is that it blends Porsche 911 Carrera styling cues with a more practical sportback or sports wagon shape, so you get a car that works as both a performance machine and a usable grand tourer. It is also offered in three body styles and with multiple drivetrains, which gives you a wide range of configurations to shop.

The trade-offs are that the brake pedal feel on winding roads is a drawback, the Bose audio system is unimpressive, and its performance value for the money is not especially strong.

For shoppers who want a luxury performance car that is fun to drive, comfortable, and still offers plenty of cargo space, the Panamera fits the brief well. The market also shows 31.1% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Panamera’s engineering is described as impeccable, and its driving dynamics and technology are both strong points. The twin-turbo V6 and PDK transmission are presented as a fantastic powertrain for most buyers, and the car’s overall execution is praised as near-flawless aside from outright performance-for-the-money concerns.

It also brings a useful ownership perk in the form of a well-equipped package of comfort and convenience features, including heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, four-zone climate control, and a premium sound system on the tested version.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is cost: even when the car is excellent to live with, expensive repairs or maintenance can quickly outweigh the benefits if the previous owner deferred care.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a car with higher mileage or a long option list. Focus on condition, service records, and whether the car’s equipment matches the way you plan to use it.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo each bring a different body style, and the Platinum Edition adds exclusive detailing, unique 21-inch wheels, a sport exhaust system, and a Premium Package. The base setup is the simplest version, while the Platinum Edition adds comfort and convenience features that make it easier to live with.
• Powertrain: The base twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 makes 325 horsepower and pairs with an eight-speed PDK transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with all-wheel drive available, and the car is tuned to balance daily drivability with strong back-road performance.
• Safety package: Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with lane-change assist, and parking sensors are included. The Assistance Package adds a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist, while the test car did not have InnoDrive or night vision.
• Infotainment: The cabin centers on a 12.3-inch touchscreen with Porsche Communication Management, plus wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SiriusXM 360L, connected services, and a wireless smartphone charger.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA says the Panamera should return 20 mpg in combined driving, and the test vehicle averaged 19.3 mpg on a mountainous route.

Which 2023 Porsche Panamera trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera is offered in 3 trim levels: Panamera, Panamera Executive, and Panamera Sport Turismo.

Here's the short version:

• Panamera: This is the simplest way into the lineup, and it makes the most sense if you want the core Panamera experience without paying for extra body-style complexity or added equipment.
• Panamera Executive: Choose this if you want the extended-wheelbase layout and a more spacious, comfort-oriented setup for passengers.
• Panamera Sport Turismo: This is the best-value trim if you want the most practical body style, since it leans into the wagon-like cargo and usability advantage that helps the Panamera stand out.

The safety package is broad, and adaptive cruise control is standard across the 2023 lineup.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche Panamera?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 367 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.41% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $80,997, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche Panamera's resale value?

The current average of $80,997 sits slightly below last year's $88,430.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer today but may limit upside if you plan to resell soon. If you buy at the right price and keep the car in strong condition, you can reduce the risk of taking a bigger depreciation hit later.

Because the Panamera is a niche luxury performance car, resale tends to depend heavily on condition, mileage, and equipment. A well-kept example with desirable features should be easier to move than a neglected one.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Porsche Panamera safe?

The 2023 Porsche Panamera earns a 5/10 safety score from our experts.

Porsche fortifies the Panamera Platinum Edition with numerous advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS). These active safety features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring with a lane-change assist function, and parking sensors.

In addition, you can pay extra for an Assistance Package that adds a head-up display, a surround-view camera, and Porsche InnoDrive with Traffic Jam Assist. InnoDrive pairs the adaptive cruise control with a lane-centering assist system for active driving assistance on highways and in traffic.

The test car did not have InnoDrive or the separately available night vision technology. The lane-departure warning system can also struggle to distinguish pavement seams from lane markings, and the lane-keeping assist can intervene abruptly when it decides you are not paying close attention.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche Panamera or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.41% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• This year’s only change is that adaptive cruise control is standard instead of optional.

The bottom line: The 2023 is a smart pick if you want the Panamera’s core mix of style, comfort, and usability with a market that has softened enough to create some buying opportunities. If you are especially price-sensitive, you can also focus on the lowest-priced listings and compare them carefully against the broader market.
