Used 2023 Porsche 911 for Sale nearSilver Spring, MD

How much does the 2023 Porsche 911 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 1,226 listings available, you have a meaningful amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 a good car?

Yes — with a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating, you’re looking at a sports car that balances driving enjoyment with comfort and premium interior materials. The 911’s appeal is broader than many cars in its class, which makes it a strong fit if you want something special without giving up everyday livability.

The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Performance.

The trade-offs are familiar for a sports car: there isn’t much cargo space, and the car’s value proposition is weak relative to the price. Even so, the lineup’s range from focused performance to more unusual, characterful versions gives you flexibility depending on how serious you are about driving.

With 32.3% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 911’s long-running evolution and premium build quality support its reputation for being a well-sorted sports car, and its comfort-oriented everyday manners help it feel less demanding than many rivals.

Its performance focus is still clear, but the car is described as comfortable and easy to live with for a sports car, which is a good sign if you plan to use it regularly. The main long-term ownership risk for used buyers is that its premium positioning can make upkeep and repairs more expensive than you’d expect from a mainstream car.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Porsche 911?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re serious about, then prioritize a pre-purchase inspection from a Porsche-savvy technician. Focus on condition details that matter most on a sports car: tire wear, brake wear, curb rash, and signs that the car was driven hard or modified.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Carrera is the most approachable choice, while the Carrera T adds a manual transmission, lighter components, and a more engaging setup; the GT3 and GT3 RS are much more track-focused and give up ride comfort in the process.
• Powertrain: The lineup ranges from the 379-hp flat-six in the Carrera to higher-output versions like the Carrera S, GTS, Turbo models, GT3, GT3 RS, and Dakar; the Carrera T keeps the same engine but adds weight-saving and driver-focused hardware.
• Safety package: The base Carrera includes frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist, while adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system, and blind-spot monitoring are part of the optional Premium package.
• Infotainment: You get a 10.9-inch touchscreen, standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless CarPlay, and USB-connected Android Auto; the native interface can be distracting, and the small on-screen buttons take some getting used to.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel-economy figure is stated in the available data.

Which 2023 Porsche 911 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Porsche 911 is offered in 12 trim levels: Carrera, Carrera 4, Carrera T, Carrera S, Carrera GTS, Sport Classic, Turbo, Turbo S, GT3, GT3 RS, Dakar, and convertible variants.

Here's the short version:

• Carrera: This is the best-value starting point if you want the core 911 experience, because it delivers plenty of performance and is eligible for almost all of the same options found in higher trims.
• Carrera T: This is the enthusiast’s pick if you want the least expensive manual-transmission 911, plus lighter components and a more engaging driving feel.
• Carrera S: This is the step-up choice if you want more power and many of the Carrera T’s upgrades without going all the way to the more specialized models.
• Carrera GTS: This is the stronger all-around performance trim if you want a meaningful power bump and a more serious setup without jumping into the track-focused end of the lineup.
• Sport Classic: This is for you if you want a more characterful, retro-flavored 911 with a throwback ducktail spoiler and higher output.
• Turbo: This suits buyers who want very high horsepower and straight-line speed, but it is less about the purest sports-car feel.
• Turbo S: This is the top-end turbo choice if you want maximum output in the turbocharged range.
• GT3: This is the right pick if track driving matters most and you’re willing to give up some comfort for sharper performance.
• GT3 RS: This is the most extreme performance choice in the lineup, aimed at shoppers who prioritize racetrack capability above all else.
• Dakar: This is the outlier if you want the lifted, off-road-inspired variant with all-terrain features.
• Convertible variants: Choose these if open-air driving matters more to you than the coupe’s fixed-roof focus.

The base Carrera includes standard frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist, while more advanced driver-assistance features remain optional.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Porsche 911?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you can shop patiently without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,226 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 96.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $211,815, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Porsche 911's resale value?

The current average of $221,273 sits slightly below last year's $222,676.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you’re planning to resell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate your future exit value, especially for a car with strong enthusiast appeal.

The 911’s broad appeal and premium positioning should help it stay desirable, but condition and trim choice will matter a lot when you sell. Higher-performance and more distinctive versions may attract stronger interest from the right buyer, while well-kept examples should remain easier to move.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Porsche 911 safe?

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

As a “driver’s car,” the 911 doesn’t come with the typical suite of safety and driver-assist features you’d find on other vehicles. Frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist are standard on the base Carrera, while adaptive cruise control, a surround-view camera system, and blind-spot monitoring are available as part of the optional Premium package.

That means you should pay close attention to trim and option content if safety tech matters to you. The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so a used example without the right package will feel less equipped than many shoppers expect.

Should I buy a 2023 Porsche 911 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 32.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The lineup grows with several new variants, including the Carrera T, GT3 RS, Sport Classic, and Dakar.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $218,286, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $221,273 average.
• It blends approachable performance with everyday drivability.

The bottom line: If you want the broader 2023 lineup and a stable pricing environment, the current-year car is the better target. If your priority is spending a bit less, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you find a clean example with the right equipment.
