How much does the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander cost?

Prices have softened 8.67% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

Is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander a good car?

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander is a solid fit if you want a compact SUV with a seven-passenger layout, a more modern design, and a family-oriented setup. Its user rating is 3.67/5, and the model’s appeal comes from its third row, updated infotainment, and broad safety equipment rather than sporty performance.

The Outlander is especially relevant if you want a compact SUV that feels less conventional and more flexible for everyday family use. It offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus a strong list of driver-assistance features, but it is also described as slower than most rivals and tuned more for comfort than excitement.

37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander reliable?

The 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander emphasizes everyday comfort, a quiet cabin, and a well-equipped feature set. It also comes with a broad suite of safety features, including frontal collision warning with automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, reverse automatic braking, and rear parking sensors.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about outright complexity and more about whether the vehicle has been maintained well enough to preserve its comfort and value over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a careful inspection of the cabin, electronics, and safety systems. Because this model leans on technology and family-use features, condition matters most where wear and tear can affect daily usability.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander?

This is a moderate buyer’s market, so you can shop selectively without expecting every listing to be a bargain.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,298 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 86.1% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $22,149, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander's resale value?

The current average of $22,149 sits slightly below last year's $24,251.

That decline suggests the Outlander is losing value faster than it was a year ago, which can be a disadvantage if you plan to sell soon. For you as a buyer, though, that same trend can improve your entry price today. If you expect to keep the vehicle for several years, the softer market may matter less than finding the right condition and equipment now.

Should I buy a 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 86.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.67% compared with last year.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $19,495, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $22,149 average.
• It offers a more value-focused redesign with strong tech and comfort.

The bottom line:
Choose the 2023 if you want the newer model-year pricing context and a broad pool of listings to compare. If your priority is saving money upfront, the 2022 is the better path, especially if you find one in strong condition with the features you want.
