Used 2023 Lincoln Navigator for Sale near Connecticut

How much does the 2023 Lincoln Navigator cost?

Prices have softened 14.00% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,302 listings available, which gives you a meaningful pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Lincoln Navigator earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.67/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

The Navigator’s appeal comes from its flagship full-size luxury-SUV mission: you get significant towing and hauling capability, a spacious third row, and a cabin that emphasizes comfort and upscale presentation. The trade-offs are that fuel economy is weak, the ride quality is poor in Normal mode, and the hands-free driving tech is basic.

For shoppers who want a large luxury SUV that prioritizes people-moving space and capability over efficiency or agility, that mix can still make sense. The market also shows 37.9% of listings as good or great deals, which suggests there are opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Navigator is presented as a robust full-size luxury SUV with a traditional truck-style platform, and that setup supports its towing and hauling mission. Its twin-turbo V6 and 10-speed automatic are the only powertrain combination, and the model’s overall character is built around size, comfort, and capability rather than efficiency.

The performance notes also point to a dependable-feeling powertrain in everyday use, even if the SUV’s fuel economy is a weak point. Lincoln’s cost-effectiveness commentary reinforces that this is a vehicle you buy for what it does well, not for low running costs.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that a large, complex luxury SUV can be expensive to fuel, maintain, and repair.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lincoln Navigator?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate, because accident-free status is not the same as a clean mechanical record. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection that checks the suspension, brakes, electronics, and any driver-assistance features you plan to use regularly. Focus on overall condition, since this is a large luxury SUV where wear, repairs, and option content can materially affect ownership costs.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is described as upscale with quality materials, but some switchgear chrome plastic does not fully convey luxury. The test vehicle was a Reserve model with a Reserve I package and Monochromatic Package, so base-trim equipment gaps may matter if you want a richer look and feel.
• Powertrain: The Navigator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with 440 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic and 4WD. It is the only engine offered, and the SUV’s fuel economy remains a weak point.
• Safety package: Standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 and available Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 Drive packages bundle the driver-assistance tech. The available suite includes Evasive Steering Assist, Intersection Assist, and BlueCruise, but BlueCruise lacks lane-change assist and can require frequent driver intervention.
• Infotainment: The Navigator has a 13.2-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, Alexa Built-in, and Lincoln Connect with Wi-Fi hotspot access. It also offers a digital instrumentation display and available widescreen head-up display.
• Fuel efficiency: The test vehicle was rated at 18 mpg combined, and on the test loop it averaged 15.6 mpg. The model also cannot hit 20 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2023 Lincoln Navigator trim should I buy?

The 2023 Lincoln Navigator is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Reserve, Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, so it makes the most sense if you want Navigator size and capability without chasing every luxury upgrade. It still gives you the core full-size luxury-SUV experience, but you should expect fewer premium touches than the higher trims.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds a more upscale cabin presentation and the kind of equipment that makes the Navigator feel properly luxurious. The test vehicle was a Reserve, and it showed how this trim can deliver the model’s flagship character without going all the way to the top.
• Black Label: Choose this if you want the most premium expression of the Navigator and are willing to pay for it. It sits above Reserve and is the trim for buyers who care most about the richest materials and the most exclusive feel.

The standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 and available Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 Drive packages are worth prioritizing if you want the fullest safety and driver-assistance coverage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lincoln Navigator?

This is a moderate, selective-buyer market, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,302 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.00% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 85.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $55,587, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator's resale value?

The current average of $55,587 sits slightly below last year's $64,638.

That decline suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you as a buyer but may pressure future resale values. If you buy now, your strongest protection is choosing a well-kept example with desirable equipment and clean history. A lower entry price can also reduce the amount of value you stand to lose later.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Lincoln Navigator safe?

The 2023 Lincoln Navigator earns a five-star side-impact protection rating and a four-star rollover resistance rating from NHTSA.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 and available Lincoln Co-Pilot360 2.0 Drive packages bundle the Navigator’s driver-assistance systems. The available suite includes Evasive Steering Assist, Intersection Assist, and BlueCruise, which is Lincoln’s hands-free driving assist system for designated highways.

BlueCruise is useful, but it is not fully hands-off in the way some shoppers may expect: it struggles with curves, mixed pavement, and construction zones, and it lacks lane-change assist. That means you still need to stay engaged and ready to take over.

Should I buy a 2023 Lincoln Navigator or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 85.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 14.00% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• An era is coming to an end, with the Navigator’s traditional truck-style platform and twin-turbo V6 defining this version.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $47,843, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $55,587 average.
• It brings design, comfort, and technology updates that refreshed the SUV.

The bottom line: If you want the strongest mix of current-year pricing, broad inventory, and flagship-size capability, the 2023 is the better target. If your priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the smarter value play, especially if you find one in strong condition with the equipment you want.
