Used 2023 Lexus IS for Sale nearCharlotte, NC

How much does the 2023 Lexus IS cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 1,187 listings available, which gives you a solid pool to compare prices and equipment.

Is the 2023 Lexus IS a good car?

Yes — the 4.8/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. Owners consistently praise the sporty design, smooth performance, and luxurious interior, and they also highlight the handling and overall value for money. That fits well if you want a compact luxury sports sedan that feels more athletic than purely practical, especially if you rarely carry passengers. With 39.5% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Lexus IS reliable?

Owners rate it 4.8/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes reliability-adjacent strengths like smooth performance and a trouble-free-feeling ownership experience, along with the brand’s reputation for dependable daily use. Reviewers repeatedly point to the car’s long-term appeal through its features, design, and overall quality. For used buyers, that suggests lower ownership anxiety than you might expect from a sporty luxury sedan, though you should still expect normal wear-related risk on any higher-mileage example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Lexus IS?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should prioritize a history report first, then focus on a pre-purchase inspection that checks for prior damage, uneven wear, and signs of poor repairs. Because the back seat is tight and cargo space is limited, condition matters more than versatility here, so make sure the car’s interior, electronics, and trim are in the shape you expect. If you’re comparing multiple listings, favor the cleanest example over the cheapest one.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Lexus IS?

This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile options.

• Deal availability: 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,187 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 83.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $40,269, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Lexus IS's resale value?

The current average of $40,806 sits slightly below last year's $41,147.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than sharply weakening, which is helpful if you plan to resell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate future value because the model is not showing dramatic swings. Strong owner satisfaction also helps keep demand healthy among used shoppers who want a sporty luxury sedan with a premium feel.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Lexus IS or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 39.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 83.7% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $37,551, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $40,806 average.
• It emphasizes engaging driving character and a stronger performance halo.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced shopping pool, the 2023 is the safer primary pick because pricing is stable and inventory is broad enough to compare carefully. If your top priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in strong condition with the features you want.
