Used 2023 Kia Soul for Sale nearAtlanta, GA

How much does the 2023 Kia Soul cost?

Prices have softened 4.17% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 1,944 listings available, which suggests a healthy amount of inventory for used shoppers.

Is the 2023 Kia Soul a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Kia Soul earns a 4.6/5 user rating and a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel and Cost effectiveness.

Owners consistently praise its value, spacious interior, and comfortable ride, and they also respond well to its safety features. The Soul’s boxy shape and practical packaging make it a strong fit if you want something affordable that still feels distinctive and useful.

The trade-offs are that performance is fairly pedestrian and the seats can be uncomfortable. It also works best if you value everyday practicality over excitement.

With 31.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, there is still room to find a competitive price.

Is the 2023 Kia Soul reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, with praise for its value, safety features, and driving comfort. The expert review also describes the Soul as a practical, good-value model that is well suited to everyday use, and the powertrain is presented as a straightforward setup that should be easy to live with.

Kia’s warranty coverage adds another layer of reassurance for long-term ownership. For used buyers, the main risk is less about the concept of the car and more about finding one that has been maintained well and checked carefully for wear.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Kia Soul?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any candidate and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example. Focus on overall condition, interior wear, and whether the features you want are actually present on the trim you are shopping.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base LX is the most stripped-down version, while the S adds more convenience and driver-assist equipment. Higher trims bring more comfort and tech, but the base model is where you are most likely to notice feature gaps.
• Powertrain: The 2023 Soul uses a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a CVT and front-wheel drive. It is tuned for easy everyday driving rather than quick acceleration.
• Safety package: Forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and a driver attention monitor are standard. The S adds lane change assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and automatic high beams.
• Infotainment: The base LX gets an 8-inch touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster, while higher trims get a 10.25-inch touchscreen with navigation. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are included with the smaller screen, while the larger screen uses wired versions.
• Fuel efficiency: Most models are rated at 28 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, while the EX is rated at 29 mpg city and 35 mpg highway.

Which 2023 Kia Soul trim should I buy?

The 2023 Kia Soul is offered in 4 trim levels: LX, S, EX, and GT-Line.

Here's the short version:

• LX: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Soul’s core personality at the lowest price. It is the trim to consider if you want the boxy styling and practical packaging without paying for extras, but it is also the one most likely to leave you wanting more equipment.
• S: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds meaningful safety and convenience upgrades over the LX. If you want a more complete daily driver without jumping too far up the price ladder, this is the trim to focus on first.
• EX: This trim is the better pick if comfort and efficiency matter more to you. It adds more upscale equipment and is the trim associated with the stronger fuel-economy rating.
• GT-Line: This is the style-forward choice, with the sportiest appearance and the most premium-feeling presentation in the lineup. It makes sense if you want the most distinctive Soul, especially when equipped with the available technology package.

The safety package is more complete once you move above the base LX, so that is worth factoring into your decision.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Kia Soul?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but still move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,944 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.17% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 81.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $16,722, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Kia Soul's resale value?

The current average of $17,013 sits slightly below last year's $17,754.

That softer pricing suggests the Soul is currently a buyer-friendly used car, but it also means future sellers may need to stay competitive on price. If you buy well now, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pressure later.

The Soul’s strong value reputation and broad appeal should help support demand, especially among shoppers who want something practical and distinctive. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Kia Soul safe?

The 2023 Kia Soul earns top “Good” ratings in all IIHS crash-test categories, but it gets an “Acceptable” rating for child-seat anchor ease of use, and NHTSA gives it a four-star overall safety rating with four stars in frontal and rollover crash testing and five stars for side-impact protection.

It earns a 6/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance features include forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, and a driver attention monitor. Moving up to the S adds lane change assist, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and automatic high beams. The GT-Line Technology Package adds junction-turning detection, navigation-based adaptive cruise control, and Highway Drive Assist.

The main caveat is that some of the more advanced safety tech is not standard, and adaptive cruise control requires an option package on the priciest trim. That makes trim choice especially important if safety equipment is high on your list.

Should I buy a 2023 Kia Soul or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 31.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 81.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.17% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• The 2023 model adds more standard driver-assist features and a revised trim lineup.

The bottom line: The 2023 Kia Soul is the better path if you want the updated feature set and a used price that has already softened. If you are especially price-sensitive, a nearby model year may still make sense, but the 2023 is the cleaner choice if you want the newer safety and trim structure without paying new-car money.
