Should I buy a 2023 Kia EV6 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 48.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.74% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.82/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $22,961, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $26,593 average.
• It offers a fresh, standout take on Kia’s first ground-up EV.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger overall market balance of value, condition, and owner satisfaction, the 2023 is the better default choice. If your top priority is spending less up front, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the EV6’s distinctive style and performance.
