Why it stands out
The 2022 Kia EV6 marks a significant evolution in the electric vehicle market, showcasing a bold and sporty design that sets it apart from competitors like the Hyundai IONIQ 5. This model highlights an impressive dual-motor system that delivers 320 horsepower while maintaining efficiency, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds. The EV6 is equipped with advanced technology, including a dual 12-inch screen arrangement that combines infotainment and climate controls into a sleek and modern dashboard. While it excels in performance and aesthetics, some users have expressed concerns about its cargo space, which may feel limited compared to other models. The EV6 has positive feedback from owners, largely for its overall driving experience and state-of-the-art features, though its electric range has drawn some criticism, particularly in colder weather.

The lovely ‘22 Kia EV6 GT-Line has great features beautifully lit by the interior leds. It is a comfortable ride with a luxurious ambience. The backseat is spacious and the trunk fits a wheelchair with the seats reclined back. The car has helpful emergency braking, precise perimeter alerts, smart adaptive cruise control, seamless lane changing and stable lane keeping capability. We receive lots of compliments. Charging is very convenient.

Great car. Its quiet and loaded with features. We like the GT-Line trim over the GT since its more comfortable as a daily driver. Despite less power it has a respectable 0-60 of 4.5s which translates to plenty of speed for overtaking maneuvers on the highway when needed. I would not classify this car as an SUV. Its more of a wagon and trunk space is limited when compared to the 2017 CRV we replaced. With that said, the car interior is well sized for a family of four and very comfortable. We own a Bolt too so have a level 2 charger in our single family home - would only recommend an EV if you can install a charger on your primary home. Public infrastructure is too much of a hassle to deal with and costly. With your own Level 2 charger you will never have to worry about using any DC fast chargers unless you are on the road trip. With our Bolt we have not used public chargers in 17,000 miles.
