How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 7.64% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,778 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for comparison shopping.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2023 Grand Cherokee stands out because it blends Jeep’s capability-focused identity with a more premium feel, and it gives you a wide trim range that runs from practical to upscale. It also offers multiple four-wheel-drive setups, including systems with a low range and an available air suspension, so you can prioritize comfort, traction, or off-road hardware depending on how you plan to use it. With 37.0% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have a decent chance of finding a competitive offer.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The 2023 Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its broad capability, premium-leaning design, and flexible powertrain choices, including options that let you focus on efficiency, V8 power, or electrified driving. That kind of versatility can make ownership feel rewarding if you want one SUV to cover commuting, family use, and weekend adventures. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is paying more than expected for a higher-spec configuration, so condition and maintenance history matter.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully, even when the listing looks clean, because that helps confirm the vehicle’s background and ownership story. Put inspection priority on the condition of the drivetrain, suspension, and any equipment tied to the trim level you’re considering. Focus on whether the vehicle’s features and wear match the asking price, especially if you’re shopping a more expensive configuration.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate market, so you can be selective without expecting a deep bargain on every listing.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,778 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.64% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 89.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,122, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $29,122 sits slightly below last year's $31,530.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also means future resale will depend heavily on how well the vehicle is equipped and maintained. If you choose a desirable trim and keep the SUV in strong condition, you may be better positioned when it’s time to sell. The model’s broad appeal and capability-focused identity should help it stay relevant with used shoppers.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 89% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.64% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,162, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $29,122 average.
• It adds a meaningful boost in technology and sophistication.

The bottom line: Choose the 2023 if you want the stronger current-market mix of inventory, pricing, and owner satisfaction. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better value path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
