How much does the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 8.44% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 8,457 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction, and the 2024 Grand Cherokee’s appeal comes from its blend of Jeep capability with a more premium, family-friendly feel. The overview also highlights a wide trim range, from basic and affordable versions to more luxurious and pricey ones, so you can shop for the balance of comfort, technology, and budget that fits your needs. If you want an SUV that can feel upscale while still offering serious off-road hardware, this model year fits that use case well. 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview suggests a straightforward powertrain lineup and a familiar formula centered on capability, comfort, and available premium features. That kind of established setup can be reassuring if you want a used SUV with a clear identity and broad appeal. For long-term ownership, your main risk is choosing a higher-trim or more complex configuration without checking condition carefully.

What should I look for when buying a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific listing matches the condition you expect. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment. Focus on wear, maintenance history, and whether the features you want are working properly.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 8,457 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.44% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 91.2% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $31,607, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $31,607 sits slightly below last year's $34,521.

That price movement suggests the market has already adjusted downward, which can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle. For a future seller, that means resale value will depend heavily on how well the vehicle holds demand relative to its current pricing. A well-kept example with the right equipment should still appeal to shoppers who want capability and a more premium feel in one package.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2024 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2024 if:

• 37.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 8.44% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: You should lean toward the 2024 if you want the current-year balance of price, inventory, and owner satisfaction in a Grand Cherokee. If your priority is stretching your budget further, a nearby older year may be worth a look, but the 2024 gives you a strong mix of value and confidence if you find the right listing.
