How much does the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee cost?

Prices have softened 7.91% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 7,597 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee earns a 5/5 user rating, which points to strong owner satisfaction. The overview shows a model that blends Jeep’s traditional off-road identity with a more premium, mainstream-friendly feel, and it gives you a wide spread of trims from basic and affordable to luxurious and pricey. That makes it a flexible choice if you want a midsize SUV that can fit a budget or step up into a more upscale setup. 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The overview points to a model that keeps Jeep’s off-road credibility while adding a more upscale cabin than many rivals, which can be a good sign if you want capability without giving up everyday comfort. Its broad trim and powertrain spread also suggests a well-developed lineup with options for different needs. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is choosing a higher-spec version that may cost more to maintain and repair over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still check the history report carefully so you can confirm accident status, title history, and prior use. Put inspection priority on the condition of the drivetrain, suspension, and any higher-end equipment if you’re shopping a loaded trim. Focus on overall wear and how the vehicle was maintained, since the best used examples will usually be the ones that show consistent care rather than just low mileage.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently and still find worthwhile listings.

• Deal availability: 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 7,597 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.91% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 88.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $28,962, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

The current average of $28,962 sits slightly below last year's $31,450.

That price movement suggests the market has cooled, which can help you buy more affordably now but may also limit short-term upside if you plan to resell soon. If you’re thinking about future value, the current pricing trend means your best protection is buying well and avoiding overpaying today. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 38.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 88.4% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 7.91% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,057, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $28,962 average.
• It offers a redesigned package with strong capability and a more modern feel.

The bottom line: If you want the stronger current-market balance of price, inventory, and buyer satisfaction, the 2023 is the better default choice. If your priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the more budget-friendly path and still gives you the Grand Cherokee’s core strengths.
