What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Hyundai Venue?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should start with a history report to confirm the car’s accident record and ownership background. Focus on overall condition and how well the vehicle has been maintained, especially if you want the lowest-cost path into a small SUV.

What is the 2023 Hyundai Venue's resale value?

The current average of $18,047 sits slightly below last year's $18,070.

That small decline suggests the Venue has been holding value fairly well rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of stability can make pricing easier because the market has already shown a consistent range. The model’s value-focused reputation and steady demand should help support resale interest if you keep the vehicle in good condition.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.7/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Hyundai Venue or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 33.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 84.1% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.7/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $18,831, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $18,047 average.
• It adds wireless smartphone integration and stronger ownership perks.

The bottom line:
You should lean toward the 2023 if you want the lower purchase price and a stable used market. If you can stretch for a newer model and want the added convenience features, the 2024 is the better upgrade path. For price-sensitive buyers, the 2023 remains the smarter value play.
