• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Honda Odyssey's resale value?

The current average of $32,894 sits slightly below last year's $36,500.

That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable entry point, but it also means future resale gains may be more gradual if the market stays soft. For you as a seller, the Odyssey's broad family appeal and strong reputation should help keep demand steady. Well-kept examples with clean history and desirable equipment should be easier to move than neglected ones.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.8/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Honda Odyssey or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 79.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 9.88% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.8/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $28,629, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $32,894 average.
• It delivers a more engaging driving feel.

The bottom line: If you want the better-balanced buy, the 2023 is the stronger choice because it combines strong owner satisfaction, healthy inventory, and a softer price trend. If your top priority is spending less upfront, the 2022 is the better secondary path, especially if you find one in excellent condition.
