Used 2023 Genesis G70 for Sale nearPittsburgh, PA

How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices are up 1.04% year-over-year — a sign of continued demand for this model year.

There are 822 listings available, which gives you a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — 4.57/5 owners rate it, and the expert rating is 8.33/10. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the G70’s beautiful design, performance, and value compared with other luxury brands. The feedback also points to a luxurious interior and powerful handling, which lines up with its role as Genesis’ entry-level sedan for buyers who want a compact luxury car with style and driving enjoyment.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy in V6 form and limited cargo space. Even so, the G70’s approachable technology and sporty character make it a strong fit if you want a small luxury sedan that feels distinctive without being difficult to live with.

Good and great deals account for 35.6% of listings, so there’s still a meaningful share of market-priced inventory to consider.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also points to a car that feels dependable and trouble-free enough to inspire confidence over time, with praise centered on value, performance, and the kind of ownership experience that keeps people satisfied. The expert notes reinforce that impression by describing the G70 as a car with generous warranty coverage and complimentary scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about outright durability and more about how the car was maintained and driven, especially if you’re looking at a higher-mileage example.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, because a clean listing percentage doesn’t replace documentation. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re looking at a higher-trim or higher-mileage example, and pay close attention to wear items, electronics, and signs of hard use. Focus on overall condition rather than just equipment count, since the G70’s appeal depends heavily on how well it has been kept.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim gives you the core G70 experience, but the Sport Prestige trim adds Nappa leather upholstery, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes. The cabin also uses leatherette seating as standard, with leather and Nappa leather available at extra cost, so base cars can feel less upscale than better-equipped versions.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6, both paired with an eight-speed automatic. The four-cylinder is the efficiency play, while the V6 delivers much stronger acceleration but uses more fuel.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The blind-spot view camera system is optional.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not available, and the system does not use a fully digital instrument cluster.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder with rear-wheel drive is rated at 25 mpg combined, while all-wheel drive drops that to 23 mpg combined. The V6 returns 21 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 20 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Sport Prestige, Sport Advanced.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the best-value starting point if you want the G70’s core strengths without stretching the budget. You still get the stylish design, the easy-to-use 10.25-inch infotainment system, and a strong set of standard safety features, so it covers the essentials well.
• Sport Advanced: This V6-only middle trim is the smart step up if you want more power without jumping straight to the top. It adds the stronger 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 and sits between the entry trim and the fully loaded version, making it the natural choice for buyers who care most about performance.
• Sport Prestige: This is the trim to choose if you want the most complete G70 experience. It adds Nappa leather upholstery, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes, and it suits you best if you want the most upscale cabin and the most hardware-rich setup.

The safety package is generous across the lineup, but the blind-spot view camera system remains optional.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $31,091 sits slightly above last year's $30,771.

That modest increase suggests the G70 has held demand reasonably well, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A stable price trend can support resale confidence because it signals that shoppers still value the model’s mix of style, performance, and luxury-brand appeal.

The owner satisfaction score also matters here, since cars that leave buyers happy tend to stay in demand longer. That can help support resale value over time, especially for well-kept examples with desirable equipment.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

The 2023 G70 earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS based on the identical 2022 model’s results.

That suite gives you a lot of standard protection, though the blind-spot view camera system remains optional.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 35.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.8% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices are up 1.04% year-over-year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the refreshed styling, strong powertrain choices, and generous standard safety tech.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,453, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $31,091 average.
• It adds refreshed styling, improved infotainment, and Highway Driving Assist.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $31,492, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $31,091 average.
• It adds a new, more powerful base engine and sharper overall appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the best balance of price, features, and current-market availability, the 2023 is the cleanest choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the better value path; if you want the newest powertrain development, the 2024 is worth a look.
