Used 2023 Genesis G70 for Sale nearMinneapolis, MN

How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 824 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis G70 earns a 4.57/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, strong performance, and value compared with other luxury brands. The user feedback also points to a luxurious interior and powerful handling, which fits a car aimed at shoppers who want a premium feel without paying German-brand prices.

The trade-offs are clear: the expert review calls out poor fuel economy in V6 form and limited cargo space. That means you should think of the G70 as a driver-focused compact luxury sedan first, especially if you care more about style and engagement than maximum practicality.

Even so, 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback also emphasizes that the G70 feels like a strong value and a car you can count on for a satisfying ownership experience. The expert review adds that Genesis backs the car with generous coverage and complimentary scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership friction.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about basic dependability and more about how the car was maintained and driven, especially if you’re considering a higher-output version.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage examples or cars with optional equipment. Focus on overall condition, because luxury features and performance hardware can be expensive to sort out later.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim gives you the core G70 experience, but the Sport Prestige trim adds more upscale equipment and a richer cabin presentation. The base car is still well equipped, yet the higher trim is the one that makes the interior feel more special.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6, and both pair with an eight-speed automatic. The four-cylinder is the efficiency play, while the V6 is the stronger performance choice.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Some extras, like park distance control and the blind-spot view camera system, are optional.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Bluetooth and SiriusXM. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not included, and a head-up display is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder with rear-wheel drive is rated at 25 mpg combined, while all-wheel drive drops that to 23 mpg combined. The V6 returns 21 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 20 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Sport Prestige, Sport Advanced.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the best-value starting point if you want the G70’s style, standard safety tech, and easy-to-use infotainment without stretching the budget. It gives you the core luxury-sedan experience and plenty of standard equipment.
• Sport Prestige: This is the trim to target if you want the most compelling all-around package. It adds upscale touches like Nappa leather upholstery, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes, making it the best-value upgrade for many shoppers.
• Sport Advanced: This trim sits between the other two for V6 models and is the right pick if you want the stronger engine with more equipment than the base V6 setup.

The safety package is generous across the lineup, but some features remain optional rather than standard.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G70?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting deep discounts everywhere.

• Deal availability: 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 824 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,913, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $31,050 sits slightly above last year's $30,815.

That small increase suggests the G70 has held its value reasonably well in the near term. For a future seller, that kind of stability is helpful because it points to steady buyer interest rather than a sharply weakening market.

The model’s strong mix of style, performance, and value also helps support demand. If you keep mileage reasonable and maintain the car well, you should be in a better position when it’s time to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 safe?

The 2023 Genesis G70 earns a Top Safety Pick+ award from IIHS.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis equips the G70 with a long list of standard driver-assistance features, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. That gives you a broad safety net even before you start looking at options.

One caveat is that Highway Driving Assist still requires active driver supervision, and the lane centering behavior is not as smooth as some rivals. If you want the most advanced convenience features, some extras remain optional rather than standard.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 37.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.6% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the refreshed design and well-rounded character from the prior update.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $26,314, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $31,050 average.
• It introduced the refreshed styling and improved infotainment.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $31,838, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $31,050 average.
• It adds a new engine option and more compelling powertrain flexibility.

The bottom line: The 2023 is the right pick if you want the refreshed G70 formula with stable pricing and strong owner satisfaction. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest powertrain choices, the 2024 is worth the extra spend.
