How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 813 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis G70 earns a 4.6/5 user rating and an 8.3/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise its beautiful design, performance, and value compared with other luxury brands. The feedback also points to a luxurious interior and powerful handling, which fits a compact luxury sedan aimed at shoppers who want style and driving enjoyment without giving up everyday usability.

The trade-offs are clear: the V6 is noted for poor fuel economy, and cargo space is limited. Even so, the G70’s polished presentation and approachable technology make it a strong fit if you want an entry-level luxury sedan that feels upscale without being difficult to live with.

Good and great deals account for 36.3% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities in the market.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.6/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable and trouble-free enough to inspire confidence over time, especially when you factor in the praise for its value and overall ownership experience. The expert evaluation also emphasizes generous warranty coverage and complimentary scheduled maintenance, which helps reduce early ownership friction.

That said, used buyers should still pay close attention to service history and condition, since long-term ownership risk is always lower when the car has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean at first glance. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important on a luxury sedan like this, where options and condition can vary a lot from one example to the next. Focus on wear items, interior condition, and whether the car’s equipment matches the trim level and price.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim gives you the core G70 experience, while the Sport Prestige trim adds features like Nappa leather upholstery, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes. The base car already includes heated front seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror, but many of the more upscale touches require stepping up.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.3-liter twin-turbocharged V6, and both pair with an eight-speed automatic. The turbo-four makes 252 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while the V6 makes 365 hp and 376 lb-ft.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. Some extras, like front and rear park distance control and a blind-spot view camera system, are optional.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Bluetooth and SiriusXM satellite radio. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not included, and a head-up display is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder with rear-wheel drive is rated at 25 mpg combined, 21 mpg city, and 31 mpg highway. The V6 with rear-wheel drive is rated at 21 mpg combined, 18 mpg city, and 27 mpg highway, while all-wheel drive lowers efficiency further.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Sport Prestige, Sport Advanced.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the best-value starting point if you want the G70’s style, standard safety tech, and easy-to-use infotainment without paying for extras. It gives you the core luxury-sedan experience and keeps the price more approachable.
• Sport Prestige: This is the trim to target if you want the most compelling mix of equipment and value. It adds upscale touches like Nappa leather, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes, making it the strongest choice for shoppers who want a more complete luxury feel.
• Sport Advanced: This trim sits above the Sport Prestige on V6 models and is the path for buyers who want the stronger engine with a more premium setup. It makes the most sense if you’re already shopping the V6 and want the added performance character.

Genesis makes driver-assistance tech generous across the lineup, and Highway Driving Assist is standard.

• Inventory: There are 813 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $30,577 sits slightly below last year's $30,720.

That small decline suggests the market has been fairly stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you’re planning to sell later. A steady price trend usually means you’re less likely to see a sharp drop in value over a short ownership period.

The G70’s strong owner satisfaction also helps support demand on the used market. Buyers tend to respond well to cars that combine style, performance, and value, and that can make resale easier when it’s time to move on.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.6/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.6/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the refreshed design and balanced luxury-sedan formula with strong standard safety tech.

Consider the 2022 if:

• It adds the refreshed styling and improved infotainment.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $32,067, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $30,577 average.
• It adds a new engine option and more compelling powertrain flexibility.

The bottom line: The 2023 makes sense if you want the refreshed G70 at a stable price with strong owner satisfaction and plenty of listings to compare. If you’re focused on saving money, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest powertrain choices, the 2024 is worth the extra spend.
