Used 2023 Genesis G70 for Sale near Colorado

How much does the 2023 Genesis G70 cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

With 824 listings available, you have a modest amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 a good car?

Yes — the 2023 Genesis G70 earns a 4.57/5 user rating and an 8.33/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Look and feel, Performance, and Safety.

Owners consistently praise the G70’s beautiful design, performance, luxurious interior, and value compared with other luxury brands. That lines up with its use case as Genesis’ entry-level sedan: you get a compact luxury car that feels upscale and engaging without being hard to live with.

The main trade-offs are poor fuel economy in the V6 and limited cargo space. Even so, the market still shows 34.5% good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive listings if you shop carefully.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 reliable?

Owners rate it 4.57/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The owner feedback points to a car that feels dependable, with praise centered on its value, performance, and upscale execution. The expert evaluation also emphasizes generous ownership support, including a 10-year, 100,000-mile powertrain warranty, a five-year, 60,000-mile basic warranty, and three years or 36,000 miles of complimentary scheduled maintenance.

For used buyers, that combination lowers some ownership risk, but you should still pay close attention to maintenance history and overall condition because luxury-car repair costs can rise quickly if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2023 Genesis G70?

Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.

You should still run a history report on any car you’re considering, even if the listing looks clean. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage examples or cars with optional equipment. Focus on signs of wear, uneven tire condition, and whether the car’s features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Standard trim gives you the core G70 experience, but the Sport Prestige trim adds more upscale equipment such as Nappa leather upholstery, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes. If you want the best value, the Sport Prestige is the trim that most clearly adds meaningful luxury and performance content over the base car.
• Powertrain: You can choose a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder or a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6, with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The four-cylinder is the efficiency play, while the V6 is the stronger performance choice but uses more fuel.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. The system is standard, but it still requires you to keep your hands on the wheel.
• Infotainment: The standard setup uses a 10.25-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, and SiriusXM satellite radio. Wireless smartphone mirroring is not included, and a head-up display is optional.
• Fuel efficiency: The four-cylinder with rear-wheel drive is rated at 25 mpg combined, while all-wheel drive drops that to 23 mpg combined. The V6 returns 21 mpg combined with rear-wheel drive and 20 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2023 Genesis G70 trim should I buy?

The 2023 Genesis G70 is offered in 3 trim levels: Standard, Sport Prestige, Sport Advanced.

Here's the short version:

• Standard: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core G70 formula with the standard turbo-four, the 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a strong list of safety features. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model, but it is the least lavish version.
• Sport Prestige: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds meaningful upgrades like Nappa leather upholstery, a surround-view camera system, and Brembo brakes. If you want the G70 to feel properly premium, this is the trim to target.
• Sport Advanced: This trim sits above the Sport Prestige on V6 models and is the step for shoppers who want the stronger engine with a more upscale equipment mix. It suits you best if performance matters more than keeping the purchase price down.

Genesis makes Highway Driving Assist standard, and the system includes adaptive cruise control with automated lane centering.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2023 Genesis G70?

• Deal availability: 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 824 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 82.5% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $29,916, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2023 Genesis G70's resale value?

The current average of $30,887 sits slightly above last year's $30,726.

That small increase suggests the G70 has held its value fairly steadily rather than swinging sharply in either direction. For a future seller, that kind of pricing pattern points to a market that is stable enough to support predictable resale planning.

The owner feedback also helps: shoppers continue to respond well to the car’s design, performance, and value proposition. That kind of satisfaction can help keep demand healthy when it’s time for you to sell.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.57/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Is the 2023 Genesis G70 safe?

The 2023 Genesis G70 earned the IIHS’s Top Safety Pick+ award on the identical 2022 model, and NHTSA has not published crash-test ratings for this car.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Genesis equips the G70 with a long list of standard driver-assistance features: forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a driver-attention monitor, automatic high beams, rear-seat reminder, safe-exit assist, and Highway Driving Assist. That’s a strong standard safety package for the class.

One caveat is that Highway Driving Assist is limited to highway use and still requires active driver supervision. The expert evaluation also notes that the lane centering can feel less smooth than some rivals’ systems.

Should I buy a 2023 Genesis G70 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2023 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2023 if:

• 34.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is solid at 82.5% — always verify the vehicle history report.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 4.57/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over the refreshed design and well-rounded setup from the prior update.

Consider the 2022 if:

• At $25,959, the 2022 costs less than the current year's $30,887 average.
• It introduced the refreshed styling and improved infotainment.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $31,706, the 2024 costs more than the current year's $30,887 average.
• It adds a new engine option and even stronger safety appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the most balanced mix of price stability, strong owner satisfaction, and a well-equipped luxury-sedan experience, the 2023 is the safest default choice. If your priority is saving money, the 2022 is the smarter value play; if you want the newer powertrain choice and can spend more, the 2024 is worth a look.
